Hello,
After some tech advise.
New PC and installing items etc.
If I download Java for Windows and then try to open said file to install. My PC is directing me to Microsoft Store.
From there I can not seem to find the download or go further.
What I am doing wrong. Any help is appreciated

I had also recently problems with new java installation, but following Christer´s post and removing java and installing open web start solved my problems:

Hope this solves your problem too. |

Nope, I still run into the same issue.
Downloading the Java file ok. But but on opening the file to start the install process.
I'm directed to Microsoft Store |

@Motskari - Thank you for the assistance
New Laptop with new Windows application = Farce
Microsoft conveniently install Microsoft Store in S Mode, this a security feature for the PC, so you can not download any other products other than Microsoft ones.
After going around in circles for while. You have to 'OPT' out of the S Mode - This is permanent you can not decide later to retrieve S Mode.
Anyway job done Java install - Game time |
