Usually I don't find skill picks all that hard but now I really can't decide what I want for this guy
With block/guard/stand firm he is one of the core players of the team, always reliable. As he got his fourth skill he rolled another double.
Now my two main choices are dodge or tentacles.
Dodge:
Blodge/sf/guard would make him a real pain in the ass for my opponent when playing the blocking game. He would also be really good at tieing up three or more opponents by himself. not to forget he would get really good at doing those fancy sf-stunts. Stand firm on amazon blitzers are ridicilously good and it certainly doesn't get worse with st4.
Tentacles
Mutations are always fun to choose. Tentacles works really great with stand firm. It is good on defense against both runnings and passing plays. I like the idea of blitzing a hole in a cage and then placing this guy next to the ball carrier with two strong guarders next to him. Against agile opponents he can also work in a pair with my claw/mb warrior to trap opponents next to them both for more evil blocks.
The team plays in a scheduled tournament that at the moment has mostly bashy teams in my division but there are some hybrid/agility teams and more are likely to come up from the lower divisions.
What to pick? |

i would say dodge would be quite cool, keep him alive a little longer or perhaps something like sidestep, to be even more annoying, or Spikes arm 10 cant be that bad so actually loads of choices, but i still like dodge |

Sidestep and Standfirm? Seems like a waste
Take tentacles, though prehensil tail is nice, too. |

Prehensile tail seems way inferior to tentacles. Against PT an ag3 player gets a 50% dodge that is rerollable, if he is escaping from a tentacle player, he has only 41,7% chance of getting away (non-rerollable) and a 3+ dodge on top of that. |

I'd take dodge. A ST4 player with SF, doge and guard will be an increadible pain for your opponent and he'd make a real strong positional player, also you can try some insane dodges with him. Just try keeping him away from your opponents tackles, and he'll be a nightmare. |

It's weird that most people that write in the tread suggests tentacle whereas most of the votes are for dodge. |

Usually I would have taken 1) claw 2) tentacle
and only in 3) dodge
BUT
it's a R team you will get fewer games vs agile teams and play more basher. I ll then take dodge! |
