turned out pretty good
bonus points to who can tell where I got my "bolt" from
basically:
1 D 6: 5 good weather and bolt
1 D 6: 1 Sweltering, 2 rain, 2 sun, 1 Blizzard
If you roll a bolt, roll for bad weather and use die as marker to remind u of weather. |

Thats really cool.
But is it the same probability for rolling bad weather? I could do the math myself, but I'm to lazy.... |

I like them - it somehow makes the weather change feel more real the same way the different weater pitches in the client does. But I can't help but wonder if the weather forecasters on the news use something similar... |

I thought these dice were a brilliant idea. Last week I found some nice wooden dice in a toy store. They have inset circles with different colours inside each circle, but no other markings. I used enamel paints to do them up as weather and blocking dice. With enamels, and because the painting is inside the inset circle, they should hold up fine to use. Here's the first set I just completed in time for a local tourney yesterday:

Absolute GENIUS!!!
I love it, Wicked idea man.
And the stats are dead on too. Man, you deserve a medal, i truly truly love this.
That really deserves to make it into the 20th anniversary box next year. |
