Let's face it, and let a new millenium begin:
everyone has it, dwarves are the team to shun - always refuse a game offer from dwarves, no matter what.
Well, tell you what - there's a new unpopular kid in school, and he's ORC. I hate playing against orcs. It's even more bashy-bashy-everyone-in-a-great-big-clump style of play.
Refuse orcs, as a matter of general principle. Help rid fummbl of its overload of orc team.
They smell, they're slow, they can't play ball. They're ripe for disposal. |

Not always true. Example 1; Example 2.
Note in particular my craptacular casualty differentials.

If I avoid one team it is Orcs.....they have no need for linemen which different than every other roster....they can put useful skills like Dp on a lino since they don't need them...harder to Kill since they are mostly AV 9...tougher than dwarves at high TR because once each side has block/guard/mb combo, Orcs have better team speed, more agility, TTM potential, and 5 players with greater than STR 3. Fairly easy team to start too with linos being so inexpensive (before they become useless). |

Well, when the team has 10 skill-position players, there isn't much room for linemen. Maybe that is the issue. I was kind of surprised when the rules commission dropped the number or Wights on the undead team and Blitzers another team (wasn't it Dwarves?) yet didn't drop down the orcs. |

Orcs need to lose the Troll. So there is no TTM anymore and they get outmuscled by chaos at least (which has the drawback of AV8 on most of it`s players and only 5 positionals) |

Orc Blitzers need to be 90k instead of 80k. |

Orc Linemen are too cheap, but 60000 would be too expensive, so this dilemma shows that the price steps of 10000 are too coarse. |

I hate broccoli. I mean it, I really do. That air of healthy evil... Can't take it.
As far as orcs go I have no quarrel with them. They are green, sure, but so are Granny Smith apples. I can't seem to get a hang of playing them though... get beat up all the time (I'm talking about orcs now, not Granny Smith apples...). In that respect I think BunnyPuncher might be on to something.
Another thing I can't get the hang of is all this race-bashing going on here. "I won't play this..." or "I won't play that.."
It seems to me what many coaches are saying is really: "I won't play anyone who'll score against me or outfight my team... and don't even think about hurting my players!" How do you ever get a game?
EDIT:
I hate you too Goody666, I hate you too. |
