So we are approaching the start of the September to Dismember Period (TM) which is of course the qualifiers of the Fumbbl Cup.
A little background for those who don't know. The FC is the grandest stage on which one can shine. It also happens to be the largest ranked tourney in the league featuring 32 teams AFTER qualifiers (roughly 240 teams take part total) so you know the competition is fierce. Add into that the number of former OLBBL coaches recently moving in and you know this might be the best FC yet (from someone making his FC debut).
I am just curious as to which teams we can expect to try their luck in the qualifiers. I will be more then happy to give some press coverage of the teams as the tourney date is announced.
I guess I have to go first.....
GLT Qualifier Fun With Goats will compete.

Guess the Warriors will give it another shot this year, too. |

Perhaps "Battle of the Bashers" would be a more appropriate name for the tournament. |

We need some ladies in this... My Amazons is for sure in it "Girly.Inc" will likely get wooped, but nobody can point a finger at these chicks afterwards saying girls cant play a mans game - at least they'll try:) |

Origami:
All major tournies start with the bashers making the noise.....
Yet the elves seem to actually do that whole winning thing. That is what matters.
Look back at the GLT.....
Two Chaos teams, CDs, two Orc teams, and a Khemri team were defeated in the first round! The only bashers that advanced were dwarves. That is a very telling fact. While a great deal of hard hitting teams try to perfect their killing ability, tournies will continue to go the way of the dodge until bashers get the ability to restrict movement.
Just my 2 cents.
Peace from a new town!
