Hey guys
Im looking a bit of help!
In my team bio, ive decided i want to show the rushing stats/game etc for my team, so what I have done is copy the match summary for my team and then I just copied/pasted into MS Excel.
Like so...
# PLAYER NAME POSITION Played PASS RUSH BLOCK FOUL Pass Yds/Game Rush Yds/Game Ave Blocks/Game Ave Fouls/Game
1 Firesplitter Cleave Storm Vermin 1 0 0 6 0 0 0 6 0
2 Grim Shaftsplitter Storm Vermin 1 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0
3 "Race" O'Bunyon Gutter Runner 1 0 27 0 0 0 27 0 0
4 Rasta Tailspike Gutter Runner 1 0 7 2 0 0 7 2 0
5 "Fast Draw" O'Gore Skaven Thrower 1 0 11 3 0 0 11 3 0
6 "Fat" Brainsplatter Skaven Lineman 1 0 0 5 0 0 0 5 0
7 Shisk Four-Arms Skaven Lineman 1 0 0 6 0 0 0 6 0
8 Sark Four-Eyes Skaven Lineman 1 0 0 4 0 0 0 4 0
9 Vermink Stink Skaven Lineman 1 0 1 6 0 0 1 6 0
10 Skrag the unclean Skaven Lineman 1 0 0 6 0 0 0 6 0
11 Varmit Evileye Skaven Lineman 1 0 0 6 0 0 0 6 0
12 0 0 0 6 0 0 0 0 0
13 0 0 0 6 0 0 0 0 0
14 0 0 0 6 0 0 0 0 0
15 0 0 0 6 0 0 0 0 0
16 0 0 0 6 0 0 0 0 0
I then painstakingly converted the whole thing to HTML in a table for my team the Cold Peak Warphunters.
Now, is there a nady converter that will simply change the above table to...
<TABLE style="BORDER-RIGHT: black 2px solid; BORDER-TOP: black 2px solid; MARGIN-LEFT: auto; BORDER-LEFT: black 2px solid; MARGIN-RIGHT: auto; BORDER-BOTTOM: black 2px solid; TEXT-ALIGN: center" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=12 border=0><TBODY><TR style="BACKGROUND: #000000; COLOR: white; TEXT-ALIGN: center" vAlign=top><TH colSpan=12>Performances</TH></TR><TR style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; BACKGROUND: black; COLOR: white; TEXT-ALIGN: center"><TD>#</TD><TD>PLayer Name</TD><TD>Position</TD><TD>Played</TD><TD>Pass</TD><TD>Rush</TD><TD>Block</TD><TD>Foul</TD><TD>Pass Yds/Game</TD><TD>Rush Yds/Game</TD><TD>Blocks/Game</TD><TD>Fouls/Game</TD></TR><TR><TD>1</TD><TD>Firesplitter Cleave</TD><TD><img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=8813xCNzN&i=619736"></TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>6</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>6</TD><TD>0</TD></TR><TD>2</TD><TD>Grim Shaftsplitter</TD><TD><img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=8813xCNzN&i=619736"></TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD></TR><TD>3</TD><TD>"Race" O'Bunyon</TD><TD><img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=8813xCNzN&i=619735"></TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>27</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>27</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD></TR><TD>4</TD><TD>Rasta Tailspike</TD><TD><img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=8813xCNzN&i=619735"></TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>7</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>7</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>0</TD></TR><TD>5</TD><TD>"Fast Draw" O'Gore</TD><TD><img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=8813xCNzN&i=619737"></TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>11</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>11</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>0</TD></TR><TD>6</TD><TD>"Fat" Brainsplatter</TD><TD><img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=8813xCNzN&i=619734"></TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>5</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>5</TD><TD>0</TD></TR><TD>7</TD><TD>Shisk Four-Arms</TD><TD><img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=8813xCNzN&i=619734"></TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>6</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>6</TD><TD>0</TD></TR><TD>8</TD><TD>Sark Four-Eyes</TD><TD><img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=8813xCNzN&i=619734"></TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>4</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>4</TD><TD>0</TD></TR><TD>9</TD><TD>Vermink Stink</TD><TD><img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=8813xCNzN&i=619734"></TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>6</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>6</TD><TD>0</TD></TR><TD>10</TD><TD>Skrag the unclean</TD><TD><img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=8813xCNzN&i=619734"></TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>6</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>6</TD><TD>0</TD></TR><TD>11</TD><TD>Varmit Evileye</TD><TD><img src="http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic.php?u=8813xCNzN&i=619734"></TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>6</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>6</TD><TD>0</TD></TR><TD>12</TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD></TR><TD>13</TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD></TR><TD>14</TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD></TR><TD>15</TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD></TR><TD>16</TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD><TD></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Sorry for the untidy post! Any help is helpful |

Seconded.
Is no help helpful?
EDIT: In theory, if you used Access you could run a query through a Word template with the data replacing <player 1 rushing> etc, and you could then cut and paste that into your bio. But that would also require a lot of effort, and there should really be an easier way.
EDIT2: BTW, is it just my screen that this table really, really, really screws up? |

to properly do it you'd have to use a script of some sort in any language you master. |

First of all it would be nice if you tell us what Excel version you are using.
Second. I assume that you have opened the html match summary directly in the Excel - easiest to achieve the statistics table data imported to Excel.
Third. May google be your friend too. Example converter could be found here. |

macike, that looks perfect, when i get home I will have to try to change it to fit my own sheet, but im not used to those VB commands
Im using MS Excel 2000
I just highlighted the text that I wanted in the match report, namely the table, and just pasted it into Excel
btw mighty ren, its the way I posted it, it makes the page screw up, sorry about that |

AFAIK Excel 2000 allows you to open html files directly.
If you would like to improve the macro just PM me. Maybe I'll be able to help you. |
