Since we have the Ulthuan Invitational coming up, I was wondering whether there was any news on what's at stake, aside from eternal glory and the chance to show those pesky helves that delves are the best blood bowlers around. The prizes on the tournament page are for UI VI, which was last year. |

As an unofficial and completely unreliable reply, there will be the Gloves of Unnecessary Panic (Hail Mary Pass), The Lesser Cloak of Shadows (Sneaky Git), and The Smelly Shorts of Eldragon (Disturbing Presence). |

The prices have a TV value, so they must be current? |

i have, rather sneakily, hidden them in the section marked 'prizes' on the UI homepage. For those unable to solve this puzzle, i have reprised them below.
This years prizes are:
Dragon Helmet (+1AV 30TV)
Ithilmir Armour (sprint, 20TV)
Gloves of Calostas (Diving Catch, 20TV) |

prizes in the UI page are the same as in the news, and they carry a TV which didn't apply last year. Although i'm not sure it's worth winning the tournament for sprint and diving catch... seems more like a penalty |

What would happen if a Wood Elf catcher won Ithilmir Armour (sprint, 20TV), would that allow them to GFI4 spaces or would it be re-rolled till the skill lands on a player without that skill? |

Given that it's items, I imagine the coach gets to decide which player gets what. |

It said those who have AV9 and spikes, and it also says 'for UI VI'.
So yes, I did read the prizes section, but gathered from the wording that it wasn't updated yet.
I agree that the added TV should have tipped me off, but then I never played LRB 4 so the difference isn't as obvious for me as it is for some.
Edit: rechecking shows that it says VII; I'm guessing this wasn't corrected, but simple dyslexia on my part? |

The monetary prize for winning games is added before or after deducing the spiralling expenses? |

This'll be my first majors (if I manage to get in). Looking forward to it! |

Its a shame that you have to have a TV of 1750 otherwise my 1360 flings would enter. I guess they will have to wait for the Fumbbl Cup. |

If I had to guess, I'd say yes and no. Yes, you get to choose, and no; one item per player.
The wording 'don't try putting it on...' suggests as much, too. |
