After yesterdays downage I cant join a game - have latest 64 bit java 8-25 installed
I don't get option of inputting game name I just have an empty table open saying connection established
Same goes for my attempts at spectating
Same goes for creating a new game
Have tried with firewall turned off
Anyone able to help? |

java 8 might be the issue

The client works fine with Java 8 (1.8.0_25-b18) on Windows 8.1 (fully updated). And if it didn't, it'd certainly be on Kalimar's todo list to make it work as it's really important to keep Java up to date.
You could go to your Java control panel and enable the Java console (under the Advanced tab) and see if you get an Exception of some kind when you start the client. (It'll be in the separate "Java Console" window that appears) |

He's talking about in the client. When he opens a game he gets a blank pitch, as described in the OP, then has to go to User Settings and click Restore Defaults each time. |
