Yes yes, I know - skill picks are the scourge of the tactics board. Still I'm going to make one because I believe this guy warrants it.
This guy rolled +MA (not doubles) and didn't age on his 76SPP roll.
He's a 6448 Thick Skull, Sure Hands, +AG, +AG, Leap, -AG, +ST runner. Now, normally I just take any stat without thinking, but for this guy, he'll have to go from 76 to 126 before he gets another increase - which could be never, considering I get about 3 dorfs of mine killed every other game (and sack nigglers asap).
Therefore, I am in need of your opinion.
My options are:
Accurate
Block
DP
Dump Off
HMP
Kick
Pass
Pass Block
Pro
Safe Throw
Shadowing
Strip Ball
Tackle
+MA
Of these, I don't really like the passing skills - who am I going to pass to anyway? If I'm passing, I'm probably losing the game. One reason to go with passing skills is that he can hang back a bit which prolongs his life... maybe.
So far I'm inclined to take Block, because his MA6 and ST4 make for a good blitzer. I don't want to get DP on him just yet (though it may be considered later). Kick and Pro I feel is wasted on him. Pass Block is a maybe, but if you check my match history, I don't get many games vs elves and never challenge elves (with this team). Shadowing probably won't work well with MA6, Strip Ball and Tackle need Block first anyway.
Leaves the +MA, to make him a 7448 runner.
What would Brian Boitano do? |

The extra speed on dwarf runners is nice, since the cage needs to advance one space less to the opposing endzone. |

Il take the +MA and then if he dies because u didnt have the block skill you can make a new topic about that! |

+ma for super potential, block for safety right now. As I like potential, I would choose +ma.
