Kings of the Campus see light at the end of the tunnel as they make their way through the 4th consecutive win under pink slip death match rules!

And without any draws, even. Well done! It may not exactly be'high stakes', but still nice. =) |

It sure feels high stakes to me tho... This team is so well balanced now, I just love it, would really hate to have to retire it...
EDIT: Kings of the Campus claim the Death Gauntlet! |

I only recently came back to the loving embrace of blackbox. I do have quite a few teams to go with but most have hardly played any games!
So...
How does it sound if I get a team to 10 games first, then apply to the meta group with them? |

Sounds good - stakes are higher then.
(Obviously depends though... for me taking a team to 10 games first would already need months.) |

There are no rules in PSDM on how many games your team must have played before they declare they are running the gauntlet, which is done by applying your team to the group.
This is an individual challenge. You move forward how ever you want. There is only two rules to this.
1)You must win 5 before you lose 1 or you retire you team.
2)This is all done by honor system. We do not have a script running tracking this down and so forth. So this is all on you to retire your team if you should fall short of the 5 wins.
** Sidenote**
Some coaches have commented that it is a little cheesy to make a rookie team and start the gauntlet run on game 1.
In the end it does not matter although I have to say in the perception of the PSDM crowd running a 5 game gauntlet with a rookie team holds very little weight in most coaches eyes, there is no risk involved if you have to retire your team.
Start your run with a 53 game team that has a TV of 1890, now that gets some respect.
BUT it is all up to each coach on how ever they want to approach this as long as they follow the two rules of PSDM. |

Ah, they didn't start at 0 games? With 5/0/0 I thought you were done already. =) |
