I usually don't take the time to look through the entirety of the brackets to make all the fancy predictions that some folks do. That said, I don't find your win at all surprising. |

** Buccaneers post game press confrence **
Reporter: Coach lets jump right to the end of the match in OT. What in the heck was going on out there? You had the match won on T3 of OT. Tell us what was going on.
Coach: Well I take full blame for the blatant brutality, unsportsmanlike fouls, uncalled for Pile On's, 3BD blindside blocks on defensless norsemen and that wedgie of death that was laid down on that fan who attmepted to run onto the field in the defense of the Norsmen.
I will admit I lost my cool in OT. We controlled the kick off and staved off the Norsemens death spasm on T2. That was when I looked over into the Norsci dug out. Waiting for a sign from vaclav that the match was over. Instead he gave me a steely gaze of ancient hatred. Spittle was flying from his mouth. He was screaming at me something I could not understand. It was Norsci jibberish but I understand the word FOUL in 27 languages. One of them happens to be Norsci.
Well what put me over the top was he went into a kabuki dance of profanity laced hand gestures in my direction. Well I could not let that pass. Major or not, game on the line or not. So I called out onto the field and "let the dogs loose on them". Your damn right I gave the order.
I unleashed hell on earth on them. No legend coach does the kabuki dance of profanity laced hand gestures at me!!!
Reporter: But coach. Man, your guy was on the end line for 5 turns. You could have won at any moment. But now Bo is sidelined for the finals match.
Coach: Yeah of course I feel bad for Bo. I take the brunt of my poor choices by having my pixels carted off the field on a stretcher. But you have to admit. That block Bo threw, rookie mistake man. That was pitiful. But still I agree it should have never gotten to that point. And we will have to find a way to get a victory in the finals.
Reporter: Coach, what was the feeling going into the second half down 2 scores. Usually that is game over in a major.
Coach: Well we knew we had men advantage in the second half. Just needed to "lean" on them. Play sound Blood Bowl and get it to OT. And we managed to do that. Some golden turns to finish out regulation and we where able to "seal the deal". I was concerned though when the Buc fans decided to riot right before kick off during the second half. Loosing that turn right off the bat did have me a little concerned. But I cant fault the fans for the riot. We deserved to have our fans go nutz after that first half.
Reporter: Well the finals are set. Cinecuter or cinecutre, how ever you spell that. They look really tough, really nice blitzer core. What is the plan.
Coach: Well with Bo out it will be a uphill climb now. But we still have a really solid core of 15 players left standing. We will come out and punch them between the eyes and see what happens. If we can stagger them right off the bat. Well then I can assure you the Bucs know how to take advantage of weak knees joints, lay some DP leather on those Niggles and off we go.
Reporter: With Bo down for the match. All of a sudden you have a nice stash of inducement money...Any clue for us.
Coach: Well we have enough money to go down many paths with that money. Bo has been telling me to hire his work out buddy Zug. We could do that. Also the traditonal route of the Wizard and some other small stuff. But I have my eye on a merc that I might be willing to give a shot in such a big match. He has played with us in the past and came through. So right now we are perculating our game plan.
Reporter: Did you have any words with vaclav after the match?
Coach: I just stared at the guy. He turned and kicked a dog in the dug out. I can only assume he left in a tizzy with his Serbian panties in a wad. But I can assure you he will not be giving the Bucs any more of the Kabuki dance crap.
Up next for the Buccaneers the big show down in the Celestial qualifier final to see which team will represent in the main draw for humanity. |

In a minor incident coach SvenS was refused to enter his favourite tavern to celebrate getting thru to the final of his qualifier.
Vitnesses claim the bouncer saying "if you ever show up with another pack of filthy rats in our tourney, youll be banned for good!"
The Tearful actors celebrated the occasion by going back to their former way of entertainment, performing a satiric play in the tavern, mocking thier coach for the customers merryment. |

I have just received word that Bo will be holding a Buccaneers watching party at the High Elf Dreams topless bar during the Bucs VS Cine match. It is invite only and allready Bo's "guy" is getting flooded by requests.
According to Bo this is going to be one heck of a party. But if the Bucs lose...everybody is kicked out of the Topless joint so he can lament in solitude and a tall drink.
Inside sources tell me that allready on the quest list is..the Crossdressers, Zug (maybe, he might be in the game), Griff Oberwald, DeMaio of the Hellbound and maybe some of his lady friends who are into this kinda of thing and Lord Borak (Bo LLC is trying to get some connections in the Wastes), Zara (she is allways down for this show) and Puggy (Bo feels for the guy, allways shows up to a major just in case, but alas, never hired).
The High Elf Dreams will open up 8 hours before the match. Full spread of food. All the dancers will be present. This place is going to be "jumping" before, during and hopefully after the game. Buccaneers will show up afterwards, if they win, and have a party and autograph signing.
SO...if you are inclined to party with Bo and dont have an invite. Show up early, stand behind the red carpet and hope one of the door men lets you in on a special invite.
Some people are supposidly selling their tickets for the actual game and want to hang out with Bo in the High Elf dreams. For them it is a win/win. Get to see their Bucs win a a qualifier and see one of the wonders of Ulthuan, High Elf Dreams.
I have to admit maybe the story of the match might be with Bo instead of in the press box for the match.

Did Bo know?
The High Elf Dreams ain't cheap for a private party and if someone was to follow the money what would they find? Should replays of "that block" be checked again? Was it tournament apothecaries that diagnosed the pinched nerve or Bo's personal medical staff? |

Well the Buccaneers "run" comes to an end in the Qualifier finals. Rumors are flying about Bo right now. Underhanded tactics to keep him out of the match. Allegations that he was bribed to sit out the match. Some guys are even thinking that Bo faked the injury so he would not have to play. But alas that is what happens when you lose. The "wolves" are set loose on you and Bo is going to have to come back stronger and better. Prove the critics wrong and lay out some players. Once that happens everything will be right again.
According to Coach the Bucs defeat was really simple. "We got diced hard...what can I say? 6 CAS against in the opening 5 turns, 1 self inclicted, will get you run out of a major pronto. Just going to have to dust off. Get set for the GLT."
Buccaneers not only get pounded into the pitch hard but also get a nice TV "haircut". 2 Blitzers, RIP, and 2 linos let go after the match. Bucs need to rebuild back up once again. But atleast the "core" of the team is still intact.
There is one report out there now with some "legs". According to reports from people at Bo's watching party Bo was visably shaken by the beat down. According to one of the dancers Bo felt like a guardian angel was looking over his shoulder. For he felt he would have been the one to get the RIP on the opening Blitz Kick off result. She says he was shaken to the core by such a close call with death and he was lucky he was not on the pitch.
Is Bo going to play scared now? Is his run of greatness done? Will he just fade away? |

Well there are now 7 finals matches still left to be played. All of them look like stellar match ups. Do not miss any of the Spec action for those matches. It is going to be a great final week of UI action as the remaining teams punch their ticket for the main draw. |
