Adding the 10 db rosters, would be cool. Especially if you can use them on a standard field. |

Is Khorne Daemons one of those rosters? |

Wouldn't we all be shocked to bits if they got it right?
*shudder* |

Yes, but there is no chance of that happening. If they cant even get the main game right they have no chance with the added coding complexities DB adds. |

First to score wins? So basically if you use a team with C-Pomb you can hunt down and slaughter their team if you can protect the ball? Uber stall sounds good to me! |

You have to find the ball first. But yeah if you get it, I'm sure many will play that way. Though caging is generally harder because of all the narrow corridors and pits etc. |

In that case it could well be a disaster.
Griefers gonna grief. |

So think of all the things they haven't been able to fix in 2 years (crashes, 12 men on the field, etc, etc), then add in:
- non-rectangular playing fields
- walls
- pits (can you Leap over them?)
- treasure chests that have bombs or a ball
- teleportation
- chain teleportation
- in-game substitution of players
- push back rules for odd-shaped spaces/edges
- more that I am missing?
Yup, they'll surely get it right this time... |

Balls bouncing off walls.
Would really hate to see this on Fumbbl, people could torture teams to pitch clear super easy.
It would be horrific. |

It wouldnt be that easy. It is brutal yes but like I say you need to find the ball first and catch it when it pops out the chest. Teams would find it tough to get cpomb'd up in DB with all the traps etc. |

Just to build on my opinion from the other thread on this topic;
Let's presume they make it and it's 100% accurate. The perfect computer rendering of Dungeonbowl. I still don't think it'd be any good.
I've played DB once in my life. Now, one game is a small sample size, and I also lost (putting my bias out there before I go on to say...), but it did seem incredibly dicey to me.
One game? Brilliant fun. Dungeons, lava, traps and teleports, madness, hurrah. Five games? Great, knock about laughs, novelty. Ten? I think I might be bored of having much, much less control over proceedings than in a normal game.
It's more dicey than stunty. Snap or Fluxx or those sorts of entirely random games only hold my attention for so long. So I'd not buy it even if perfect.
I just can't see it making money. A real headscrathcer of a release, in my very humble opinion. And they'll mess it up, as discussed. |

iirc, there were no substitutions. 6 started, and 1 more joined each turn. So agility teams had a good chance of ending it if they got the ball right away. If they didn't or the bash team got it, then yes it would end up being a slaughter. |

I've seen one played recently and I'd have to say: I agree.
It's the perfect thing for a night of laughs in the bar, not for any competitive gaming. Actually, you might say it's an exaggeration of blood bowl in general. =D |
