Then again, today I played a 3-game tournament. After the first game, I gave my dark elf runner pass, and it saved the win on game 2 and game 3, so it won me the tourney. =D |

Now, Spanish is my second language, but the team name/some of the player names seem pretty questionable. |

As someone who's dwarves (https://fumbbl.com/p/team?team_id=769406) have a super runner (https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=9991026) with 5 AG who recently got 7 MA I vote against trying the passing game.
For me a successful offensive drive is usually one where Radcliff there makes one agility roll (a 2+ with sure hands) and then has a guard escort to walk him into the endzone. If things are going paticularly well maybe I will hand off or pass to another player to try to get them some spp.
Now the extra agility is paticularly useful in some situations.
1. On offense when you are either outgunned or have been out positioned you have a credible backup plan. Usually for me this involves dodging through and running away with the ball carrier. In certain situations you may be forced to pass and the 4AG helps there. Keep note that this is a last resort offensively on "normal" drives.
2. 2-3 turn drives. The opposition scored on turn 6 or 7 leaving you a little time on the clock. Normally dwarves will have a lot of trouble here as they are too slow and can't really play a game with much ball movement. In your case you have someone who can retrieve the ball and act as a thrower and someone who can travel half the pitch in 2 turns without GFI's so you can potentially score here. I wouldn't spend skills on this situation because it just doesn't come up enough but your mileage may vary.
3. Finnally the situation I find the most use for the Agility is on defense. With 4AG you can't quite pull off some of the tricks my team can but it is still quite useful. Keep your 4AG runner screened in the back like a safetey and try to choke the oppenent off with the rest of your team. If you can bog them down and knock the ball out you now have a player who can pickup it up and dodge out if necessary. Also this is someone who if marked can dodge out and attempt to bring down a ball carrier if you are in a more stressful situation. (For this reason consider tackle for your next skill. It may not be the best choice but it should be one of the contenders)
Basically my thoughts are play the dwarf game but know that you have an extra card to play that most dwarf teams don't. It shouldn't change the play style but it makes you more flexible if you have to be. |

Haha... All of these experienced coaches saying don't try the dwarf passing game, then saying that dwarves are too boring to get games in ranked. Our dwarf player in our TT league has a dwarf averaging 1.5 completions per game and a deathroller. It's more fun then the grindy guardspam which you guys are all encouraging him to do. |

I'm all for trying interesting things but considering the team's 3/1/14 record he might be better off trying to master the basics before going for less optimal play styles... |

I'm quite experienced with differently played dwarves (if you have followed my link you'll already know that) and only offered to two different perspectives (mine and the more competitive one) - not that bad a thing to do, right?
If winning is your primary goal, then following that advice of experienced coaches (including the notion that such dwarf teams have a hard time finding a game) is a good thing. |

But I'm an experienced dwarf coach and I was giving advice against passing game (even though not directly from my personal perspective). So I feel slightly insulted or at least overlooked when someone points his finger and laughs: "Haha... All of these experienced coaches saying". I'm too emo for teh interwebz. |
