Why is Fend much less useful with AG5? |
Much less useful was a bit too much hyperbole since it would of probably been my next normal skill but just because it's easier to dodge away. Of course you don't want to have too but the difference in dodging on 2's to 3's would be enough to sway my opinion further towards fend. |

I'd get Strip Ball or Tackle. Mv8 is great for a ball carrier, but also amazing as a back field sweeper. And since you didn't roll a double (boo-hiss), I'd say either of those picks is the best one. |

Fend. It'll stave off Frenzy and angry Big Guys. Dodge is a given if you hit a double on the next one though. Sprint if you're feeling lucky. Leader belongs on a blocker, imo. |

An ag4 blitzer, a move 8 runner and a skilled Deathroller. A very interesting team you have there.
Tackle is great though Fend may save him when more PO hits the league. |

Block --> KO Return --> Fend is my normal thought process for dwarf runners. Given that he is ma 8, I would take Fend over KO Return. If you need to use him as a sweeper - then you are already in trouble honestly. Keep him solely as ballcarrier - thus Fend is best choice really here. |

There won't be more Piling On since house rules allow to use Piling On on Armor rolls only. |

Pro. MA8 is a real oneturner threat and with that in mind, you might wanna develop him that way. Learn 11 man no-blitz OTT setup and win games with that runner. |

I'd probably take Tackle.
If you really can't decide and don't see anything new as really that valuable, Kick isn't in your poll. Perhaps someone should eventually have it, and if this guy (in your view) is taking a skill for the sake of taking a skill, maybe he does this job.
But, I'd take Tackle. |

Frenzy is another interesting choice - fast players are good surfers. |

Some skills are not used very often but when they work, they win games by themselves. Kick is like this for many teams (maybe not Dwarfs tho). Anything that helps with a 1TT is another. tmoila suggests Pro; Nerves would arguably be just as valuable, as you could get the runner the ball _before_ the push-play, making the pass/handoff easier.
Practical/Defensive: Tackle (bullet)
Conservative/Offensive: Fend (barbell)
Aggressive/Teh Sexeh: Nerves (levered long) |

The problem with Frenzy on a ball carrier is that he cant simply unlock his path by using a Blitz action.
I chose Tackle and I believe that many voted for Fend but did not take in count that CPOMBers won't be a threat in my league. |
