Wouldn't Diving Tackle be ideal for situations where the ball is free but the surehanded pickup/escape is covered by an opponent with Diving Tackle or is just not an acceptable risk to you. Position him in a way where a blitz has to go through the ball to get him off? |

This is a tough call. My own voice is Jump Up because if he gets knocked down and survives he will get right back up again right back into the fight. Diving Tackle at this stage of the game is too risky. You don't want him anywhere -near- the opposition. |
