By the way I was wondering if anyone could help me with this, does it make sense? Running a 7 day ORR for all participents to enjoy a few game and then entering all of them into in KO Cup to determine winners?
heres the info from group page:
Tournaments!
To kick the season off we will have a 7 day Open Round Robin warm-up period, which will give coaches and the new team's a chance
to get some early Bulldog Brawl action in! We will kick off the warm-up as soon as we have a reasonable ammount of members, 6+.
Im sure we are familiar with Open Round Robin format but just incase;[/color]
Open Round Robin
This is a loose form of the Round-Robin type.
It allows games to be played in any order,
and there is consequently nothing that ensures
that teams have played an equal number of games.
This type can be used in tournaments where you want to give a degree of freedom to the coaches, allowing them to pick the order of games themselves. This allows coaches to play a recovery game against an less developed team before taking on that bashy chaos team.
You'll be able to arrange games with other members of the group via our group PM
After the 7 day Open Round Robin warm-up period is over, we will then begin the season's Knockout Cup! Im sure we are familiar with the format but just incase;
Knockout
"A basic single elimination tournament type. Teams that lose games get eliminated and the ones that win go on to the next round. This type is also called "single elimination" or "cup"."
If you have a spare slot in your game-time why not sign-up with a new all-Beastman team, take part, lock horns and compete to be the best Beastman team on the pitch - in this ultimate Beastman showdown!!
A round will last 14 days - giving coaches and teams enough time to get them in!
There will be prizes! |

So we now have a total of 9 members in the group including myself.
~Bulldog Brawl Season I~ is to kick off: Friday 13th!
If you are interested in joining us please note: We are still recruiting!!
Recent Rules Update:
Once your team has been accepted into the group, you'll recive an invite to the group PM - from this moment on your team is allowed to play 2 friendly games before the season kicks off! If your team has played more than 2 friendly games before the season kicks off - your team will not be entered into the tournement/s.
So after season I and before season II all teams again will be able to play a total of 2 friendly matches, I will be keeping a record of your team's game count, so I will know if you've played more than 2 friendly's during this period. Playing more than 2 friendly's will forfiet your team's right to compete. |
