Maybe the thread operator wanted a vote between these five types of players? |

Snotlings obviously. Their aerodynamic size and cheap price make for amazing star players. If they don't die in their first match, of course. |

I don't really mind where people take this. The vote says it all... snots are under-appreciated... |

I would submit that a werewolf is #2. In 50 games I had 300 SPP between 2 wolves, easy. One had MB, the other CPOMB. It was ridiculous. |

Personally, I think its the Gutter runner. I can't think of another player that has more of an affect on the game. Yeah they have their flaws, but pound for pound (or TV), they have one of the biggest effects on game results of any players out there. |

But at rookie level Wardancers are a big threat on defence. GRs not so much other than if there is a dropped ball. |

1. Wardancer
2. Werewolf
3. Bull Centaur
4. Gutter Runner
5. Elf Blitzer
Although 2 and 3 might need to be inversed as I feel werewolves depend more than bull centaurs on the double skill rolls (and/or stats). |

I think legends without stat increase are almost non-existent. They are the REALLY special ones. |

I would add the UW blitzer to the list. |

Pogoer is good only with AG 4, he doesn't even have regular access to G skills.
Halfling Treemen have MA 2 and Take Root, how can they be ludicrously good?
No regular access to G skills either. |

I would easily say Gutter Runners are the best players in the game...but you need that "s" at the end...a single Gutter Runner has limited uses and effectiveness, especially on such a soft team. 4 even minimally developed GR's are a nightmare to deal with though, and capable of amazing things, and even once your opponent has mashed them down to 3 or even 2 they still present great challenges for the opponent, and opportunities for the owner. |

Is it fair to say that the Human Lino is the 'Basic Player'to compare other players to?
Eg. 6338 for 50K
In order to compare, you would have to make the Human Lino Match the player being compared to it.
To make the Lino into a Wardancer, the Lino needs:
+60K(MA) +80K(Skills) +40K(AG) -30K(AV) -70K(Cost) = 80K
To make the Lino into a Gutter Runner, the Lino needs:
+90K(MA) +40K(AG) +30K(Skills) -50K(ST) -30K(Cost) -30K(AV) = 50K
To make the Lino into a Mummy, the Lino needs:
+100K(ST) +30K(AV) +60K(Skills) -90K(MA) -80K(AG) -70K(Cost) = -50K
To make the Lino into a Werewolf, the Lino needs:
+60K(MA) +90K(Skills) -70K(cost) = 80K
To make the Lino into a Snotling, the Lino needs:
+90K(Skills) +30K(Cost) -30K(MA) -100K(ST) -90K(AV) = -100K
To make the Lino into a WE Catcher, the Lino needs:
+60K(MA) +90K(Skills) +40K(AG) -50K(ST) -30K(AV) -40K(Cost) = 70K
To make the Lino into a Vampire, the Lino needs:
+50K(ST) +40K(AG) +60K(Skills) -60K(Cost) = 90K
To make the Lino into a Witch Elf, the Lino needs:
+60K(MA) +40K(AG) +80K(Skills) -30K(AV) -60K(Cost) = 90K
To make the Lino into a Bull Centaur, the Lino needs:
+50K(ST) +30K(AV) +90K(Skills) -40K(AG) -80K(Cost) = 50K
To make the Lino into a Halfling Treeman, the Lino needs:
+150K(ST) +60K(AV) +120K(Skills) -120K(MA) -80K(AG) -70K(Cost) = 60K
Etc.. |
