In addition to all the problems everyone else has already listed, Stunty League's unquiness with the release of Secret League.
You want insanity of teams without the complete lack of general skill access? Well you can now play Engineers, Savage Orcs, or the Demon teams. You want to play stunty teams? You have plenty of choices from the Pigmies to the Treeman to even versions of stunty favorites like Squig and Skink teams.
Also, while each stunty team played differently, they were still all STUNTY teams. The amount of variation between opposition is limited. In secret League, there are dozens of extra teams from big smashing demons down to weak but "leaping" ethereals.
Also, it's harder to get invested in Stunty League as players die a lot more. |

The point is to play on even ground, where everyone is Stunty. Sure, people die a lot, but tbh, it really helps you become less salty when pixels in normal leagues you're attached to bite the dust. In the 2015 necromiser I went through multiple legends without batting an eye before winning.
Plus Stunty still has the LRB4 ruleset for secret weapons, so you generally get more use out of them.
But the fact is that currently even one of the worst run leagues in [L] gets more attention than a Leeg that has its own letter, and that's just not right. Stunty deserves to have a curator and promoter for it that's passionate, and just as important, available, to get things done. How long has it even been since changes were made to the stunty rosters, 4-5 years? How long have things like the Bray Herders been "eventuallies". Longer than that?
Stunty needs a leader willing to push forward with changes, communication, and promotion. Things have to change soon, before the Leeg totally dies out. |
