Okay the only team I would maybe ever consider not playing against is Flings with FF25, only Nuffle himself could do that, and I don't want to start imagining how my dice would be when playing against Nuffle, and brrr, how his dice would be.... |

Ultimately it is your decision whether or not to have a high or low FF at the beginning of your teams career. However, just be aware that there are some coaches who will not play your team because:
A. Your FF is not high enough
B. Your team is to "bashy"
C. They are a bad coach and don't know how to deal with the diversity of your team
D. They have inferiority complex
Make your team however you want, you can always play me. |

E. You have a CR of 130 and I don't feel like wasting my time. |

Way i see it, if i play with my 200 FF team against your 1FF team I am still going to earn 200K, if i dont play i cant afford anything.
Someone with 200 FF that doesnt have a good team, that doesnt have buckets of skills and a high chance of winning is doing something very wrong.
hey so the other guy gets cash, ummmm so what so do I, and odds are he's going to need a few replacements anyway.
most important of all IT'S A GAME, ITS NOT REAL MONEY
(no i dont really have a 200FF team) |

Think I had the best guy just now. Challenged a team with 2FF only to be asked how much FF I had before he played me.
Nearly fell off my chair. |

very surprised no one has mentioned front loading yet.
If you have ff 1-3 and i have higher ff, especially at low tr. You will likely have a front loaded team. Cash i spent on ff, you spent on positionals etc. So you have a tougher team promising lower income. Not very attractive.
personally i rarely care, but as most fumbbl coaches see teams as imortal and care about progression they are looking for balanced games with decent income.
More ff = more offers. |

Fan factor in the 6-9 range is a MUST for coaches interested in long term teams.
But I have never met ppl refusing me because of low FF... maybe I'm just lucky. |

I've only played 6 games with my dwarves and started with a 4ff. Being new to FUMBBL I really didn't know the norm. I've only had one coach complain about it though. He ended up conceding and I managed to get another concession and now my FF sits at 6. guess I lucked out.
But since then I've been making teams with higher FF just to be "nice". But hey if you are a competitive type going low ff better team is a good strategy if you can get people to play you. |

Rarely play below 7. Mostly because of what Purple Chest said. At higher TR I don't care that much, but on the other hand I don't see many low-FF-teams around 200 either... |

You want to see one? http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=70864
The team has FF3 after 31 matches and TR 199. The team doesn't start with so few FF though. |

I would both play low FF teams and used to build low FF teams - truth be told, I never really paid that much attention to an opponent's FF. Most of the time I decline games from people with a high CR and an awesome team: I always regretted playing against superior coaches with superior teams. |
