Btw, sausage on a pizza...

Does any other country, besides USA, put sausage on their pizza?

The british do it also (I bet they even have sausage-pizzas for breakfast) Wink

Spicy beef for me, otherwise I eat anything on pizza.

I also find that if I use the oven in "grill" mode rather than "fan assisted", the toppings get done nicely in about 20 mins from frozen, the base is lovely and fluffy rather than hard charcoal, and if it's not quite scalding hot enough after 20 mins at 220 deg F then 20 seconds in the microwave finishes it off, a few mins to cool and bobs your aunties live in lover.

Bizarre topic, but I thought I'd lend my expertise.

why would you have a pizza that just has sausage, mushrooms or ham on it .... surely you want something more than that?

I've always been fond of pizza with plenty of topping "supreme" or "the lot" - it varies from place to place. Pepperoni pizza is okay, and the plain old margarita is good too (but not from the "discount" pizza chains - but you can't get good pizza there anyway).

In italy we put sausages on some type of pizza (boscaiola, with mushrooms as well)... italian sausages are however far different from anything else i ate outside.

Anyway, in Naples, best pizza is bufala & pachino... the first is a mozzarella from the milk of female buffalos, the second is a type of small red tomato, also called little cherry because of this. It is the best pizza in the world... no doubt...

oh, another thing, I know americans and some other country like pineapple on pizza... please do me a favor... stop... Sad

Various combinations of:
Any kind of meat(s), black olives, basil, mozzarella, ricotta, pineapple, garlic, spinach

Avoid:
Green peppers, onions (either one dominates the taste and smell of the entire pizza)

I always go for the seafood pizza: mussels, prawns, crab meat, Pipi's (dunno what the rest of the world calls them), maybe some oysters if your at a flash place, topped of with thousand island sauce.

You get seafood Pizza's in the Northern hemisphere?
