Hmmm... come to think of it, I like my old way better. Top 12 is playoff projection. I'll put a little asterisk next to the number for teams that I think are getting snubbed on the playoffs and a carrot for the ones who are lucking. Right now, I'd give an asterisk to Oakland and a carrot to Philhala.
After that it's:
* How likely is this team to work its way into the postseason?
* How likely is this team to come away with a win (or at least a tie) against a random NBFL playoff team?
* How likely is this team to beat the opponents on its schedule?
* What would I think if I were their next opponent and I saw them coming up next?
* What is this team's record?
* How is this team rounding into form for next season? |

I think this way makes more sense in terms of a power poll.
But as I said all along, it's your baby, do it however you want, it generates chatter which should be the point I guess. Otherwise you might as well just send it to ryan and let him cry about where ATL grades out :p |

This stuff sometimes takes me awhile, but I'm ranking the draft picks based on their outcome and performance so far.
I'm only up to #18 so far, but the results for the top ten don't bode well....
This season's top 10 picks:
#1 never earned any SPP, now his team is moribund.
#2 is gimped and retired.
#3 has earned only 3 SPP, but is still active and healthy.
#4 earned 2 SPP, now her team is relegated out of the league.
#5 is a stud.
#6 is a studlier stud.
#7 is a studlier stud even still.
#8 is dead.
#9 is dead.
#10 is vaguely studly-ish. |

Well, now your draft pick looks like an A-plus-plus grade. I think this merits a piece of short fiction if he steps up.
It's a little-known fact that several Redheads are huge Lothern Bay fans! In fact, they just can't wait for a chance to collect some souvenirs! (Souven-ears?) I think we have to wait a season though…. |
