The Fearless Clerics have proved themselves really determined to put undead of all stripes back where they belong. The bonus points and strong juju are making them serious contenders for this Cup and we now have our first RIP against Ralph the zombie from Zugar's Nagash FL.

We await our bonus points with anticipation.

Hail to England Strolls to Victory against Green Chopperz, in the 1st. round of Orcland Wooden shield.

Hail to England 3 - 0 Green Chopperz

In a rather one sided afair, HtE managed to walk in 3 touchdowns. With some early ko's and a few well placed boots, the goblin menace was pretty much kept from the field, and the few remaing greens, was never any real thread. This made it easy for HtE to stall their way to a 1-0 lead at half time.

In the 2nd half, HtE lined op in an offensive formation, and got lucky with an early goblin mistake, this secured the 2nd TD. 3rd TD was simular, and only a quick thinking Troll (What!?!) prevented the 4th.

GG Warden. I hope we clash again next month

Massacre on the blood bowl field as Do the Zombie Stomp defeated Generic Team, in the Middenheim Challenge

Generic Team 1 - 3 Do the Zombie Stomp

Right from the start of this game things went bad for the humans, a well aimed rock thrown by one of the many loyal zombie fans, stunned one of the human linesmen. This marked the beginning of a dreadfull game for the humans. The mummies were on fire, hurting people left and right, and even the gouhls and zombies got in some hits. the first half ended 1-1 much to the credit of vlokiera's coaching skills, but it was only a matter of time before the nummbers told, and the zombies could walk in an easy 3 - 1 victory.

OCCS Reeborc Stomp May 09----Match 3.
The Phyco Hose Beasts came out swingin, landing 4 Cas the first 4 turns of the game, unaffected by the foul apperance of our players. We overheard them saying they dated worse! We got out to an early lead only to have them tie it up before the half on a end-to-end one turn td drive. Second half, we managed to grab the ball and break away for a 2nd td, sealing the game we thought. The Beasts made a last turn effort and scored their 2nd TD as time expired......but WAIT! The ref stopped the match, claiming that the ball was not thrown to the endzone but was instead a fallen zombie's shoe! THe passer was remade to throw the ball but this time it fell short, securing our win!
That was some major bad luck for Deatheart, who definitely deserved this to end 2-2.

Hail to England Takes home The Shield.

Hail to England 3 - 0 Black Freighter All-Stars

Once again lady luck smiled opon the players from HtE, they dodged like elfs, and seemed to win all the one on one duels. With a two to nothing lead at half time and the team still close to full strength, things was looking hard for the All-Stars. A wizard had been hired for this game, and his service ensured that the last TD went HtE's way as well.

Thanks for the match smjack70, it was fun and well played, I will look forward to the next tim we meet in the OCCS

OCCS Antipodal Regional Shield 6/09
What looked like a tight game thru the first half went quickly south after halftime as Nuffle turned his back on us. Apparently Nuffle and Nurgle were arguing and we paid the price. Half the CAS were from failed dodges it seemed. Once again a complete ownage by General. Coach's note: Stay away from this tour until you get a 175TR team (which hasn't happened yet) lol.

Is there a reason that several tournaments seem to have run over their time limit?

Orcland Wooden Shield 6/09.
This match started out like all the rest, early CAS and poor dice puttin me behind the 8-ball by turn 3. Surprisingly, I was able to land a few cas of my own to keep the numbers even but was not enough as we went into the half down 1-0. A far more exciting game emerged in the second half as i tried to fight my way back into the game but lack of players kept me from sendin it OT. Great match Real. This has not changed my mind about quitting these tournaments as I have yet to be competitive this year. Goodbye OCCS in a playing capacity for the forseeable future!

Orcland Wooden Shield 6/09

Gravaines Queste 1 - 2 Rocky Mountain High

The stoned dwarfs of Rocky Mountain High laid a beating on the wood elves of Gravaines Queste. The game started out friendly enough as the elves received the kickoff and sped to an early 2 turn score. The dwarfs took the kick on turn 3 and slowly ground the elves into the pitch. 1-1 at the half, the dwarfs again received the kick and easily moved through a 7 elf defensive formation. Twice the ball ended up on the ground, the first the result of an amazing elf blitz between 2 blockers and the second when the dwarfs tried to pass the ball near the endzone on turn 6. The elves ended the game with 5 players on the pitch.

OCCS Middenheim Challenge 09/09

Male Manglers (Amazon) 0-3 Carrickfergus Guardians (Chaos Dwarf)

Carrickfergus Guardians and their fans completely outplayed the Male Manglers from the opening gun. The rock throwing fans knocked Ceed Ache, the Amazon thrower out of the entire game before the opening kickoff had landed. From then on, The dwarfs held position with better speed and more strength than the ladies could muster.

OCCS Reikland Rookie Cup 09/09

Electronic Wizards (human) 2-0 Bonyard Dawgs II (undead)

A typical rookie match full of stumbles, fumbles and blunders. No score at the end of the first half although Alexander Graham Bell, the human ogre collected 2 causalities on missed blocks by undead players. The 2nd half began 8 on 8 with the Electronic Wizards kicking. Their defense was strong and they grabbed the ball due largly to a 1 on 1 blitz tackle and then scored by turn 4. With 9 on 9, the Bonyard Dawgs went all out to try and tie the match but the Wizards were up to the challenge using an open field tackle (missed dodge roll) and a turn 8 pass play to seal the victory.

OCCS Reikland Rookie Cup 10/09 1st Round.
Somehow me managed to stay on the field and be a lucky break or two away from stealin this one. After a slow start the Dunebusters started squishin the rats under their heels, filling up the BH box. Gratz to the new apo who revived our runner to keep us a threat. We started OT down 8-4 and were a failed GFI away from a serious 2-turn scoring threat before he regained control. Ultimately his strength and MB was just too much for us to handle in this early state. Good match!
