I need to get back. I may never catch Kharnete, but I need a couple more good games (especially with my skinks) to move up to a safe top-3. Bumped up 2 points with the skinks, but 25 replacing 23 is no huge deal. Need to do better than BOTH of those.
On the bright side for those of us still holding out hope, this game was not for SPLAT: http://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=3474451 |

By the way, I don't know if there's been an official count posted, but (unofficially) the representation this season:
Gnome 16
Squig herders 10
Goblin cheaters 9
Gnoblar 8
Albion Fae 7
Pygmy 7
Skink 7
Skryre slaves 6
Chaos halfling 6
Nurglings 6
Eshin 5
Strigoyan 5
Forest goblin 4
Snotling 4
Horrors of Tzeentch 4
Grandfathered goblin 1
Some expected results, some surprising results! (None more surprising to me than the apparent preponderance of gnomes. Where are all these gnomes I'm not playing against?) |

Only 4 Forest Goblins is surprising too, and I didn't expect 5 Eshin at all.
And is a shame, as I don't think I will play again a game like this (50 splat points!) |

I am sad - this means that Fae will not be uncommon next time, right? Time to start a forest goblin team perhaps... |

I have to say my Forest of Fools is keeping my S.P.L.A.T. score down. Trying hard and harder to get a good match with 'em, but with a 1900 TV every game turns out in a nightmare of wizards, bribes, monstrous star players and rerolls stolen by master chefs. I could still have a shot at 3rd place, though. I'll try til the end. |

I wouldn't worry about that yet. I plan on taking SPLAT Season 1 + the last 2 Majors as my template for Season 2 common/uncommon teams. In that case Fae will likely be uncommon again. Gnomes however, will likely never been uncommon again. They lucked out this year because only 3 teams entered the FCC. |

My 1880 TV Squid Herders are always up for a game! They will not be getting any of those inducements against you! |

Here's a question -- and I'm not picking on anyone specific, because I've seen it a few times from different coaches. Can we put a TV difference cap on scores? Because I'm not sure that a 2000TV team taking on a rookie team should count. All I'm saying. |

I think it counts just as any other game. There's nothing said by baelnic 'bout TV difference I guess. |

Facing a rookie team just means that they have less reserves that can go splat! |

Nothing this season. I thought about the problem but after playing down 800 tv in the FCC and seeing some other ones I decided to let it play out. So far I haven't noticed it as a problem. Since I hand score every game im not sure I can efficiently add in tv difference but we will be discussing all this in the off season.
I will say this. SPLAT is designed to get people playing stunty games. I think all restrictions to a getting an eligible game should be well thought out. If its needed so be it but casting a wide net for all potential teams and coaches is a top goal. |
