I'm under the impression that L will have their own thing going with lrb4 for a while (or forever, idk) so we're going to finish out the season + bowls. Then we'll look into starting the league over with the new client, unless we can convert our teams (which would be awesome.) So i guess we'll just wait and see what our options are, but the new client is definately something we'll want to do

Current bowl standings according the RFAdvantage math system

BCS Title GameImage
#1 Oregon Waterfoul 7-0-2 (.802)
~ Oregon was able to overtake TT for the #1 seed in the nation due to a more impressive win in their final match and will be the favorite in the title game again this year.
vs.
#3 Clemson 5-3-1 (.780)
~ The Terrors jump into the title game due to TT's unfortunate bowl game suspension, can Clemson prove that this really was their year after a dissapointing season and hope that once again Bash can defeat Flash.

#2 TT will be given complementary game passes and rocks to spectate the Title game this year

Rose BowlImage
#4 Noise State 5-2-2 (.729)
~ The State quietly has a big year and will be in a fight in the biggest non-title bowl game.
vs.
#5 Hawaii 5-1-3 (.715)
~ The Hawaiians are going bowling and in a big way. They match up well and can really pressure the ball, even if they give up size to Noise.

DeadEx Orange BowlImage
#6 Black Knights 8-0-1 (.711)
~ The invincibles were nearly that this season, and their loss will keep them out of the top two bowl games but they still get an invite to the Orange Bowl.
vs.
#7 UMSL 5-2-2 (.699)
~ The Harlots look to be competitive and will have their hands full drawing the top non-AQ team in the nation.

Tossit-os Fiesta BowlImage
#8 Painstate 4-2-3 (.684)
~ Painstate managed to create a winning season, having graduated nearly a full team of starters after last years title.
vs.
#9 Cali 5-0-4 (.678)
~ Cali is thrilled to not be slated for a loss in the Killer Lite Bowl, we expect them to lose a better bowl game than usual this year.

#10 Missou has rumors of bowl game suspension hangin over them, somehow linked to UMSL, one team or the other is likey to face censure.

Killer Lite BowlImage
#11 U of L Cardinals 6-2-1 (.649)
~ The Cardinals make the second showing of a non-AQ team and will have their hands full against some of the top individual talent of the NCBB.
vs.
#12 Nibraskah Wanabees 4-1-4 (.645)
~ The bees pull one of their most hated foes for a monster of a bowl game, can speed overcome the rock and hard place?

Wonderbra BowlImage
#13 Golden Gate 4-2-3 (.634)
~ The Warriors pull a nasty surprise in the bowl game lottery, as we are sure that their opponents will show up clad in Wonderbras to everyones dismay.
vs.
#18 Mihn'eeSOH'tah 4-0-4 (.576)
~ The Golblen Gogres will enjoy their spot in the bra bowl and fans will likely be lining up to watch this one!

#15 Georgia and #16 NC State will both not be bowling this season as their coach is a complete tool. (Better luck next year guys.)

Goober BowlImage
#14 U.Con. 4-1-4 (.626)
~ The Huskies got bumped down a bowl game to make for the first ever all necromantic bowl.
vs.
#17 University of Nevada 5-1-3 (.585)
~ The Wolfpack round out the bowl game contenders out and will face the original NCBB doggy spread offense with their own wolfy changes.

McNurgle's BowlImage
#23 Vampy 1-2-6 (.470)
~ The Commonthralls one wih this season was not enough to keep them from playing in the filth this season.
vs.
#24 Navy 2-0-7 (.421)
~ The Midskeletonmen were fortunate enough to pick up 2 forfeit wins this season but can't avoid the McNurgle's.

CBBS Report: Bowl Game Announcements!!!

It's that time of year folks! Bowl season is upon us, and we have eight great matchups for NCBB fans to watch. Without further delay, here they are:

ImageMcNurgle's Bowl: Navy Midskeletonmen (1-0-8.) vs Vampirebilt Commonthralls (1-2-6)
The consolation bowl for the two lowest rated teams in the NCBB this season, the McNurgle's bowl will see two struggling programs attempt to turn things around with a rare victory. Vandy won three straight bowl games until the past two seasons decimated their roster, while Navy has lost several quality mummies over time. It'll be interesting to see if Vandy can avoid mass injuries and pull off a much-needed win with their brilliant coaching, or if Navy can find the luck that has won them a few upsets in the past.

ImageGoober Bowl: University of Nevada Wolfpack (5-1-3) vs Buffalo BullCentaurs (2-1-6)
The Goober bowl brings together two teams that had rough stretches near the end of the season: Nevada was undefeated through five games but lost three in a row before a tie last week, while Buffalo struggled for a few seasons to rebuild their roster...only to suffer SI=nigs on both bulls in the same game once they did. Both sides feature a 'dynamic duo,' and whomever's tandem plays better (or even shows up, thanks to those injuries,) will likely result in a victory for their team.

Image Wonderbra Bowl: U.Con. Huskies (4-1-4) vs Mihn'eeSOH'tah Golblen Gogres (3-1-5)
In arguably the most intriguing match up of the bowl season, two older programs face off for the second time this year. These two first met wayyy back in season 5, where UCon won easily 3-1. Their next matchup saw another Husky victory, but this year in week 3 of Out-of-Conference play, Da Gogres got their revenge!!! With the 1-0 victory, Minni took a large step forward (literally,) and now look to finish a solid season by stomping on some young pups from UCon.

Image Killer Lite Bowl: Nibraskah Wanabees (4-1-4) vs U of L Cardinals (6-2-1)
Nibraskah fans believed their team could take the big cheese this season but had to suffer through a .500 year, hoping perhaps to cap things off with a bowl victory to build on for next season. But they won't be happy to see a bunch of ugly dwarves in their way, as the "L" definitely doesn't stand for "Losers" in their bowl opponent's name. The Cards have put together a very solid season, only losing once during Non-AQ play, and are looking to springboard into bigger things next year with a bowl victory of their own. A huge clash of styles is due in the Killer Lite Bowl folks, so be sure to tune in!

ImageTossit-os Fiesta Bowl: PainState (4-2-3) vs Missouri Two-Hand-Touch Tigers (5-0-4)
PainState, after winning the national championship last year, was a mere afterthought coming into the season, given that they had to replace eight players (and seven costly positionals.) But State took their lumps early in OoC play and then turned it on for the Big Beast, where they had a 3-1-1 conference record. One of the teams they beat was Mizzou, who had already retired many of its senior players in order to better prepare for next season. With a bunch of recruiting funds saved up, this rematch should be interesting as a (likely) revamped Tiger squad looks to claim revenge on coach TodFa's orcs.

ImageDeadEx Orange Bowl: BlackKnights -I'm invincible! (8-0-1) vs California Golden Lizards (5-0-4)
The seemingly invincible BlackKnights ran around foes in the Non-AQ, only dropping a single contest (2-3 to dwarves....not sure how that happened.) Perhaps the highest bowl bid ever for a pure Non-AQ team, the BKs have the fortune of playing California, who are 0-4 in bowl games. But the Lizards might not go down easily, as little was expected of them after having to replace five senior saurri, though the team managed a number of wins while developing along the way. Cal hasn't had great success vs elves in the past, but they sure can try to hurt them in the effort.

ImageRose Bowl: Noise State Broncos (5-2-2) vs Hawaii University (5-1-3)
The Granddaddy of them all has Noise State from the Smack 6, as well as Hawaii from the Big Beast. Noise had a great season, including a shocking 4-1 upset of then unbeaten Clemson (who still manages to stay ahead of Noise and get into the title game.) Hawaii had several marquee wins as well, including over the other title participant in Oregon. This would be a better matchp if Hawaii hadn't lost so many players over the course of the season, so Noise will definitely be on the hunt during the Rose Bowl.

ImageBCS National Championship: Oregon Waterfoul (7-0-2) vs Clemson Terrors (5-3-1)
Those bastards from Oregon finally lost last season, falling for the first time all year in the title game. And then they lost a huge chunk of their team to graduation, so few expected them to rebound quickly. But alas, they did, and now they're back in the title game despite having a fairly rookie and banged up roster. Surely it was good luck that got them here and nothing more. Meanwhile Clemson hopes that it was nothing more than bad (maybe even awful,) luck that almost kept them out of this game during the course of the season. After starting out 4-0, the Terrors got demolished 1-4 by Noise, then proceeded to tie three straight games before finally winning again in the final week. Clemson replaced a few older, banged up players with fresh top-tier recruits, so it'll be interesting to see how Coach K fares in a repeat title appearance, as he certainly doesn't want a repeat of the classic 2-1 basher win like last time.

Well there you have it folks! All eight awesome bowl matchups have been announced, and hopefully we'll have scheduled times for each pretty soon! Whether you agree with a team's placement or not, the only thing that matters now is how a team performs on the field. No more polls; no more SoS arguments; no more lizard bias! It's time to put up or shut up during bowl season!

Look for individual bowl game previews and predictions in the upcoming days.

We regret to inform the commision that the Orange Bowl match Between California Golden Showers and the always polite Black Knights has been posponed due to a most unfortunate traffic accident!

The Golden Gate Bridge seems to have collapsed due to the clumsyness of Geoffrey Gibson, who allegedly saw a cookie lying on the floor at the opposite window.
The team bus then tumbled over, causing the bridge to collapse

The Knights are eagerly awaiting the visitors from the Western Wastelands.
The Stadium of Dark gloomy Forest will be green and ready to sell large quanteties of skunk in the the near future... or is it Skink

Yes, you are.

The 8-0-1 team was playing in the lower division, with the builder teams.

Sure, in the real BCS, if you go 8-0-1 playing against teams like Bay State Community College, you go to the national championship Smile
