So how do i bust a cage if it already forms?
The kickoffs havent really been what one could call 'deep'.
I screen my elves about 2 rows deep no one in contact with the cage and slow him down.
How long should wait for a mistake or when should i blitz the cage? I was aiming for turn 5.
In the mean time should i get a goon squad of maybe 2-3 elves and start bashing/fouling a stragler?

And what are some good offensive elf set ups, especially when out numbered?

try looking at some pro elf games for tips. I always think that is a good idea.

Just stalk Dolls, or watch his replays. :p

Though I don't like the lack of sound with replays. Other elves and skaven games can be very helpful too. Garion's Skaven guide on the same site should be read alongside the Woodie guide. The way skaven players use gutter runners should be the important thing.

Yeah thats a good point PekkaR. The catchers can be used in a very similar way to Gutter Runners, although they're a little slower and no mutations they do have St 3 which makes them amazing and means they are more blitzer than your blitzers. My pro elf blitzers usually work more as blockers... for getting in the way and taking hits, while my catchers blitz and then run away. also frenzy on a catcher is great for getting rid of a few players via the surf Smile

Also stalking Dolls is a good shout Wink

he is a great coach.
