Yes, I'd like to shut mine off too as I'm getting pop-ups for trashed PM's & it's bothersome to me as I'm, obviously, not wanting or needing to read those anymore.

P.S. I use Firefox.

Hmm weird - I must have dreamed. I was pretty sure that was in the header of each thread - I guess I must have mixed it up with the reminder thing.

I like this system very much as I proposed a notification in the wishes list 2015. Can I make the beginning of the pm readable for my chrome browser in the task bar.

It's fantastic, but I wish it would only notify me once per thread. Right now, when I log on, if my league is particularly chatty, I have to click away 20 notifications that the same pm thread has been replied to.

We also have to clear the alert twice. Once for the desktop and once for the web site. We don't need the website alert if we have desktop alerts enabled.

Any news on how to stop the alerts from trash bin pm's yet?

This thing is really annoying...i'm not against some kind of message alert popup, but the way this works does my head in.

Appreciate all the work, but would be great if we could turn this off as it is a feature i personally dont want.

as a possible feature for those who like it, maybe have them fade away after 5-10 seconds

Again, you can turn already it off globally (if you're talking about your browser's alert)... Just follow the exact same procedure: on Firefox, click on the icon on the left of the URL of the current page, and select "block" in the notifications drop down menu.
