Firstly, welcome to <b>hellboy42</b> to the SWL. He has replaced savsta in the Regional league...
In Premier League: PLATYPUS is on holiday in Germany (we knew this) and his match has been forfeited. He "might" be back for round 2, but we will see...
In the Corporate Fraudsters' Conference: Sandune forfeited to neverborn due to Real Life time pressures... thanks for the note though Sandune.
In the Commissioner Twahn Memorial League: Zero points awarded against both Rennigeb and whiteknight... no emails, no PM's, no communication = zero points.
In the Mr Whippy Donut Emporium League: Longshanks and Dravaal have requested and have been granted an extension until Wednesday. Ask and ye shall receive

Hi there,
I hoped the league would start after ther 15th not before  I leave London on the 31st of August and fly direct to NZ. That means I'll be able to play right after I land 
Either forfeit round two or give us an extension.

The SWLBowl Pack now features a team list recruited from one of the SWL's most belligerent teams of Seasons 3-7 - the I-House All Stars!
Chunky's put together a team list that includes all of his star players in their prime (observing limits on positionals of course). Great idea! If you'd like to do the same with a team that has retired from the SWL, let me know and I'll include it also.

Corp Fraud Conf League: Extension granted to Toonie and Sandune until Wednesday at Toonie's request (and I think Sandune is busy with that damn thing called Real Life)
Commissioner Twahn Regional League: Forfeit against Celtic Warriors... Rennigeb, you need to PM your opponent or contact us at the admin account... thats two weeks unplayed mate
Mr Whippy Donut Regional League: Extension granted to bartgoon and Longshanks because bartgoon thought 8:30 NZ time was 11:30 Brisbane time... its OK mate, you're only about 6 hrs late every night! Wednesday is the due date people!
Also, just a comment... alot of you guys are playing on Monday nights... I get a bit worried on the weekends when I see 75% of games unplayed... to save a dear old Commish heart palpatations, can you guys try to get games done earlier in the round so we dont have the Monday rush if we can help it...

OK guys,
The SWL proxy server has been updated and should prove to be alot more trouble free.. barring someone turning off my tower.
I changed the proxy port to 8081 because a few people have had trouble with the 4321 port.

I received a neat little book by John Eldredge that has the secret to what every boy and girl needs. It is the answer to a basic question, and they look to you, Dad, for the answer.
 Boys are asking you, Dad, "Do I have what it takes?"
Girls are asking you, Dad, "Am I lovely?"
You Dads out there, you have what it takes to answer these questions. I hope you have a great day.
