Too many points awarded for one round. I agree with you. I wouldn't change the scoring system at all for the whole tournament. |

What happens if a picker makes his 7th round picks after one of the 6 matches has been played? He won't be able to win speculation #3 and the 100 points bonus? |

Well lets break it down.
15 max points for Qt. Finals
20 max points for Semi finals
20 max points for Finals.
So 55 pts for picks.
Now you get 25 bonus if you pick all matches correct.
OR Iam thinking 15 if you pick everything right for the late arrivers. Pick the remaining 5 matches correct.
20 points off Speculation bets.
So 45 of the 100 are based on do you pick everything correctly.
Compounding that there is so few games the vast majority of coaches will have the same picks. So the idea of one coach going bonkers and one coach getting 5 points? Well, it could happen but not likely.
Obviously if upsets happen in the QT. finals that blows your card totally up.
My gut says no one will get the perfect card and the top finishers this round will end up about the same.
So the only way to really pick up ground and stake a shot at winning this is to pick a perfect card and hit some spec bets. |

3 games. 3 more games to win to grab that resurrection scroll and revive the strongest Fling in history in the main draw of next year's GLT. It's time to go back to the basics. The nWo has just hired a second Goblin, who will make his début against a Box major winner. He's already started a diet consisting in Night Goblin mushrooms and warpstone shards to catch up with the BoBs.
Of course, hiring a second Goblin is a very smart choice against cdorfs.
