I don't entirely remember - but it was less than the 70 quid they want now. I think it was about 45-50? That's what they're asking for for the version 11 to 12 upgrade! Not likely...
Yeah, I use it all the time. I'm a web application developer, so there is always logos, icons, backgrounds to be messed around with. I got tired of the crap the company supplied me with and bought something industrial. The problem is, since Corel bought the program off Jasc, has become more expensive, more irritating, and of no greater value  But it is really good for mucking around with Fumbbl graphics |

i've been making headway using the gimp for editing player pics (and MS Paint shhhhh)
in no particular order of my latest efforts: (final thing is first one up tho)
   ***edit***oooops i removed these 2 from fumbbl as i will be not using them for players.***end edit***
If you use the gimp2.2 and need some help i will try to explain what i've done but this takes me long enough to do my own to be doing others just yet. |

Oh, just for the record - I tried Paint .NET the other day, and it was pretty good, actually. And free. Not as good and Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, but good enough for most things you'd want to do. I'd recommend taking a look (if you're using MS Paint!) |

Yeah that's what I use. Which I guess goes a long way to saying it's idiot proof. Only thing I wanted to do with it that I couldn't, was text that would go round the outside of a circular logo. There are probably many more deficiencies, but I lack the imagination to find them.
Quick word of warning however, if you use the help forums related to Pant.NET you'll find there's some right poncey little mincers on there, who are miles up their own arse. It's kinda like FUMBBL really, but just less fun.  |

Hey stu, you might find less mincers and more helpful artists if you try the Paint.net forums instead 
I only used paint to resize and trim the original images as i couldn't find it in gimp within 5 milliseconds but all the compostion, layers and text were gimp all the way. I'll guess i'll stick with what i know for now until i find it won't do something i want. |

Cheers for that m8. I thought some of the pictures they used as examples were a bit twisted and the sound effects seemed totally unnecessary. However I am now able to draw a cracking pair of y-fronts. |

This likely isn't as nicely instructed as the ones on page one. The advantage however is that this uses style sheets so you can change the colours of the tables rather easy. |

Hi there! Can I be a freeloader here and request a parody badge for 'Nachthafen Forest'? My ideas were to either stick the tree full of roosting bats and change it from a puffy woodland tree into a dour sylvanian pine; but I'm not sure which (if either) would actually be practical for anyone... |

Yeah and while we're poncing favours my team badge is crap.I did it in the hope that an effort however poor might swing my entry in the first place. Having achieved that (suckers!) can anyone fiddle with it for me (cue Russo's appearance) Its the text I'm not keen on as the badge is ok. Any bright ideas gratefully accepted... heres the team link
