well but often the elfball teams have much higher tv because all players are much more expensive, so normally its the bashing team wich has lower tv and gets the Inducement. In addition the Elfteams don't have so much cash as Players are dieing like flys. So they are often not able to tranfer cash to petty cash.

i have the opposite experience ottmar; my elf teams invariably die off too fast to reach high tv, while my bash teams can acquire stars, super stars and (gasp) legends, so their tv reaches quite high

Had a game yesterday with my CDs vs Nurgle:
I caused 2BHs and 1 SI. Only 1 Bh did not regen.

For me its like having 3 apos but the costs are only 60K not 150K.

Cost isn't 60k, as it's computed over all players that have regen, not just those that happen to use it.

I like the new apo! For the first time it makes sense to apo BH or KO, and all the killed and perms are not automatically removed. This is much better as you have to think about saving him just for this occasion.

Yup I agree, I think the tactical element the new apo has is one of the few good editions to CRaP.

But I still find the balance between Apo and regen off.

I think Chainsaw's solution is perfect and puts that balance right while still maintaining the tactical element you and I like -

Quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
KISS.

Apo KO - as is (to stun)
Apo BH - as is (always)
Apo SI - 2+ to heal
Apo Kill - as is (reroll injury)

Iff you raised the cost of the apo inducement to 150k. That makes it * significantly* more powerful.

Why raise it to 150k? The point is it was 50k in lrb4 and not too powerful and still better than that.

edit: I actually remember cries for Apo should be auto work (no roll) because you only get one, back in lrb4 lol. Not that I agreed with it, but I don't remember a single person thinking it was broken in anyway.

Each extra apo is better than the last.

Given as your 'primary' damage a turn is from your blitz, a 1500 killer team will maybe expect to do 5 casualties in a game. When they are at 2000, it's 7-8.

If you take 3 casualties off that number (as your improved apos have a very high chance of doing), an elf team can probably still field 9-10 players at the appropriate TV if they had all 3.

There's a reason I said apo *inducement*. That's fine as a regular apo. When you can have 3-4 reliable apos, it drastically affects how the enemy bash can play the game.

ah sorry I didn't see the word inducement in your post :S

yeah, I've no problem with that. 150k inducement sounds fine.

Though it doesn't even need to be as good as chainsaw made it.

Even if it was

Ko auto as is
BH 2+ (or auto as is)
SI 3+
Kill 4+

That would be fine with me too.
