Hi all,
I am making up my mind in how to aproach the TOP 25 Rankings for the 2014 Season. Some changes will take effect as for now.
1.I will separate Box/Ranked from Stunty. This means that both categories will have their own rankings and they will not get mixed. Up to now i counted stunty results for the coach rankings together with Box/Ranked results. This will not happen anymore. I had a feeling to be mixing pears and apples. Find below COACH RANKS leaving stunty out.
As stunty season is over please check page 3 of this very same thread to find STUNTY SPECIAL.
2.In a previous entry i stated that i was considering to keep 2013 major results and carry them over on to 2014. I rejected the idea as it would be too time consuming.
3.I did anounced that i would consider FUMBBL CUP Massive edition for the Rankings. This is also rejected to keep the woarkload reasonable.
4. Updates weekly. I will stick to it. Sunday/monday being the day of realease.
I might be confusing people a little bit but as i am gaining experience in running this i try to be realistic with what i am ready to do.

DaCoach has won his 2nd title of the season. Previously won a "4 Rnd" Box Minor coaching a Wood Elf team.
After spotting some particular cases where the weight of points achieved by a Team/Coach got somehow too unbalanced between those points coming from MAJORS and the ones coming from MINORS, i started to grow the idea that it was necessary some sort of limit in the amount of tournaments counting for the Rankings by team/coach and season.
Actions:
1.Forum POLL: First of all thanks to all the people that left their opinion.
Main ideas: A majority thinks that some sort of limit should be in place, check ATP Rankings qualifying tournaments criteria and increase points awarded to FUMBBL CUP.
2. Check ATP Rankings qualifying tournament criteria: 4 x Grand Slam and 8 x Master Series qualify. However, only 6 x 1000/500/250 series tournaments qualify.
***New criteria for the TOP 25 RANKINGS***
A) FUMBBL CUP & Majors will all count -8-
[B] Only 10 best MINORS count.
3. FUMBBL CUP: Bonus for the WINNER will increase. More details in coming weeks.

POINT ALLOCATION SYSTEM[/b]
1. I took same point sequence as the ATP uses for its MAJOR Tournaments. This is: 10-45-90-180-360-720-1200-2000
2. I match this sequence to number of wins that any coach had in any given official FUMBBL Tournament throughout 2013. As i only keep track of teams winning at least 2 games in a given tournament, this works out like this: 2w-10 points//3w-45 points//4w-90 points//5w-180 points//6w-360 points//7w-720 points//8w-1200 points//9w-2000 points
3. I allocate a fix 10 point bonus to any team that gets 2 wins or more in a Major tournament
4. I allocate a fix bonus to teams winning a title. It goes like that: 2 Rnd title=5 pts//3 Rnd title=9 pts//
4 Rnd title=18 pts//5 Rnd title=36 pts//6 Rnd title=36 pts//7 Rnd title=36 pts//8 Rnd title=36 pts// 9 Rnd title=30 pts.

1. I took same point sequence as the ATP uses for its MAJOR Tournaments. This is: 10-45-90-180-360-720-1200-2000
2. I match this sequence to number of wins that any coach had in any given official FUMBBL Tournament throughout 2013. As i only keep track of teams winning at least 2 games in a given tournament, this works out like this: 2w-10 points//3w-45 points//4w-90 points//5w-180 points//6w-360 points//7w-720 points//8w-1200 points//9w-2000 points
3. I allocate a fix 10 point bonus to any team that gets 2 wins or more in a Major tournament
4. I allocate a fix bonus to teams winning a title. It goes like that: 2 Rnd title=5 pts//3 Rnd title=9 pts//
4 Rnd title=18 pts//5 Rnd title=36 pts//6 Rnd title=36 pts//7 Rnd title=36 pts//8 Rnd title=36 pts// 9 Rnd title=30 pts.

Hi sonrises,
if I should win the RRR final I'm in between Christmas and the end of 2013, does it still count for this year? And if I win it in the first week of 2014, does it count for the new year, even though the tournament started way back in 2013?
Just curious if it would improve my final standings of this year or give me a good start for the next.

Thx for your comments. You are one of the few people that leave posts in this thread. And I really appreciate it as it is a little quiet around here which make me feel a little bit lonely 
Anyway, tournaments will be counted on the year they START. So your final is for 2013 standings. Good luck in this final!

Note to all: Let me know what you like, like cowhead and azure did, and I will try to adapt how i present the data to the requirements of the majority.

Some final adjustments to the point allocation system:
1. FUMBBL CUP WINNER will have and extra BONUS of 190 points
2. XFL/FUMBBL MINORS/BLACK BOX MINORS will be considered MINOR SERIES. 5 points bonus will be allocated to coaches/teams winning a title or getting at least to a 5th Round (loss).
3. Only tournaments that FINISH within the calendar year will be counted for that particular year Rankings.
