Now that we have this downtime and pythrr stabbed himself while knitting, The Ayatollah of Lawn Mowing has decided to keep the KPL awards moving without commissioner approval.
The Mercury Morris Award will be given each season to the last KPL team to suffer a loss. The pain of losing out on an undefeated season is a terrible one. The Quatar Heretics of all teams should know about this pain, for they once read about it in a newspaper and it sure seemed really bad! We offer a respectful salute to all the brave warriors who try, come close, and then ultimately fail to equal the Quatar Heretics' 13-0 Season 2 record.
The winner of the Mercury Morris Award this season will receive a team ticket for a Camel Tour of Perfectville!

The new KPL champion has been crowned...Ka-Sabar Bedouin win their second championship!!!
Once again the Nobnibblers are bridesmaids and cannot seem to win the KPL Championship. I starting to think they are destined to always be second.
Season #4 will start up in December.
Season #4 Draft details will be coming out soon. |

Settra has decided that for season #3 the reward for the Victors Crown and the Golden Boot will be changed up.
Victors Crown: Mighty Blow, Pro and Guard
Golden Boot: SureFeet and Sprint
It is now time for the Bedouin and the Nobnibblers to go before Tomb King Settra and receive their laurels of victory.
Also who will receive the elixir of Immortality?
The Victors crown goes to the Bedouin.

Tomb King Settra sits on his golden throne, his two handed sword resting against his thigh, in easy reach if neccesary. Rah-ma, his closest advisor stands over his right shoulder, the tome of NUFFLE dangling from his belt. They both watch the two men approach the throne.
Generals of the "Prophet" who have come with the terms of the cease fire.
For 6 months the Land of the Dead has been engulfed in total war. Armies of the Prophet and Settra have been battling it out in every corner of the lands. Towns and villages have been razed, cities under siege and yet neither side can make any gains.
Both sides are worn down, their armies depleted and both tettering on defeat. When in the middle of the night a ambassador arrived to speak with Rah-ma about a cease fire, a break in the conflict, a time for healing and reconciliation....a time to play some BLOOD BOWL.
"I see General that you have healed up from our last encounter at the gates of Mahrak."
"Regen is a bitch Settra"
"Well, next time I have a feeling you will not get off so easy."
The general moves his hand to his broadsword at his side. Settra rests his hand on his two handed sword.
Rah-ma sensing the cease fire will be short lived moves in between them.
"The cease fire will proceed as planned. To many months of work have gone into the diplomacy to bring about this respite. I will not have you two blow it on some grudge. The "people" clamour for peace and Blood Bowl.
Settra gives Rah-ma that penetrating gaze, momentary look of displeasure is scene on his face and then he puts on a smile.
"You are right, Rah-ma, to much effort has been made for this cease fire. To bad the "people" have forgotten the ways of war, then there would have been no need for this cease fire."
The General gives Settra a long gaze, realizing deep down that the cease fire will benefit the King more than his side but the "prophet" has spoken, his hands are tighed.
"King Settra, the cease fire will last for one season of KPL action. The Prophet has given his word that no hostilities will break out between us. He looks forward to his champions taking the pitch and grinding the KPL into the dust."
Settra lets out a deep laugh. Oh, he loves him some Blood Bowl
"We will see about that, general. KPL draft will commence next week, then season #4 will kick off the first week of March."
Tomb King Settra storms out of the Throne room ready and excited about the start of season #4 of KPL action.

It is time Blood Bowl fans...the kick off is right around the corner
But first we must commence with the KPL draft for season #4.
I will go into greater detail in the next few days on how it will work. Here is the big picutre.
Each team will draft 2 players onto their rosters.
You must choose a side.
Do you side with Tomb King Settra? If so, then you will draft players from a set roster and get a chance to hand pick your 2 players.
Do you side with the Prophet>? If so, then you will choose 2 players to receive the blessings of the prophet. These players will receive 1-3 random mutations or goodies (IE: Chainsaws, Bombs and so forth.)

KPL is a 2 conference league. We have a Europe and a North American conference set up. The only time you play against another coach from across the "pond" is if you reach the KPL CHAMPIONSHIP.
So, you will play your league matches at your normal night time gaming hours. |

Rah-ma's acoloyte moves through the rubble that is Zandri city. Half the city has been destroyed, still smouldering from the flames that consumed it. The citizens shamble about trying to rebuild their once great city but always leery of warfare breaking out at any moment.
He turns the corner to approach the Zandri Lumpers team HQ and it is a burned out husk. The practice pitch out back is strewn with bones. The lumpers have been sent back to their graves.
As he approaches he noticces a body, impaled on a pike, his tattered rags flapping in the wind. As he gets closer he sees tha carrion have already picked the juicy parts, all that is left is a buffet for the desert scarabs that invade the town at night.
He approaches and carefully lifts the victims head, it is as he feared, Coach Nobbaet's decomposing skull is looking at him. He notices that a parchement has been stuffed down his mouth, he pries the mouth open and pulls it out.
Coach Nobbaet you have been declared KOS by Tomb King Settra. You have betrayed your King and are a know follower of the false Prophet. Your soul will suffer in a hell of a thousand suns, your soul will be forever imprisoned in this hell.
The acoloyte notices the mark of the Prophet on Nobbaet's skin. His foul appearance, the mark of the Prophet would have been very clear when he was alive.
The Acoloyte turns and leaves. He is in deep contemplation and thought on how many coaches in the KPL have suffered the same fate. How many have rallied to the Prophets banner for the upcoming season? |

I will fluff if up at a later date but I know many of the returning members want to know what it will be.
