ST6 Ogres and ST7 Trees?
Your Defense is better than "needs another player to assist" suggests. Mind that assists are increasingly harder to get.
There might always be one free spot for an assist and you might always have "a" Guard player available. Getting four assists though (to block 2d with 3ST vs 6ST) often proves to be way trickier than just "using four players" alone.
Oppos might be intrigued to go 1d- which is good for our Biggie. Tying up lots of players in order not to have a sure shot at him.
Needing five+ assists might be impossible. At this point it is no longer a question of assists. |

Isn't ball and chain sort of a bug in the client. The ball and chain gives the 6 ST, and and +ST shouldn't give 7. |

Yes and no. Ball and chains shouldnt be able to get skills at all as per the rulebook... so you could interpret a [S]tunty player who has "Ball & Chain" as being the definitive ruling on what the skill should do. |

One thing I dont understand about the initial post is:
Why is the 3dice/2dice thing even up for debate?
It's not like ST+1 is gonna give you more than twice the strength of your target right away.
Even if this consideration has been made for big-guys only you still end up with needing an extra assist to get 3dice as opposed to just blocking 2dice singlehandedly. |

ST 6 Tree + 1 on = 7, av ST player 3. St 7 block on average player = 3 dice. |

Sure thing on a tree.
I think I misread the post somehow.
sk8bcns box is supposed to be meant for big-guys only I guess.
Still leaves the question wether I really want to have to get another assist
to finally get my 3dice if I dont play the tree.
I dont get the feeling that big-guys are usually in the spot where the oppos blodge-sidestep-"mustfallnow"-threat is located and even if they are I would probably go with my reliable blitzer to do the job anyway.
I would still always take ST+, big-guy or not |

but the true question is, if you had a +STR +STR player, would you give him a third +STR in case he ages or is injured? |
