Text book totally agrees with most of your critics, Smashy. It talks about the reasons for fouling as 1)Tactical 2)Taking out Key Players and 3)Winning the numbers game. There are admonishments to weigh the risk vs. reward, and an assumption that you are using fouls only to assist your winning of the game. did you read it? |

Many coaches who don't know how to win choose to foul a lot instead so they can come away from their hour spent with some type of satisfaction.
You can do whatever you want on T16, but don't be surprised when you start getting turned down for games by coaches you don't even know. Word spreads on the net quickly ... |

In the future, then, perhaps written evidence should be examined for you by a neutral third party before it is submitted as supporting your argument. Just a thought. |

i understand foul is a dirty word
i just wanted a good disscusion on somthing i think
could be seen as not so evil
but its not the majority view and i want to play as many people as i can
so i just wont foul on the last turn
unless i can gain from it
i look forward to playing you all soon |

i agree with you but i have hope that we could live in a world that laughed when a player died
especialy when its funny
like when he trips and kills him self one square off the winning touch down and you used a reroll and a appo and he gets raised from the dead fro the other team
i mean come on thats funny man |
Agreed, that is funny!
And you´ll be surprised about how many coaches will laugh (after the shock is gone). But I do not see how it is comparable with a senseless T16 foul.. |

I foul on turn 16. Not many times, but when I feel its needed. Fouling is tactical, but when an opponent goes after a player just to kill him, then anything goes. His tactic was to injure my player, and so is mine, even on turn 16. Especially when a player fouls all game, then whines about your only foul, which is on turn 16. Fouls are meant to hurt players. Its an illegal action or the game wouldnt penalise players for being caught. You wouldnt need refs if we didnt have them. Not that Id like to see them taken out of the game. So dont get me wrong, but I feel its from start to finish a malicous act. I dont know why it would matter whether its on turn one or 16. Same intent. Hurt players. Now saying that if niether team fouls at all during the game then a turn 16 foul would be construded as bad sportsmanship. |

IMO that's stupid.
Probably (well, it is for some people) his plan was NOT to injury your player, but to get him out of the game so that he would win. Of course, some people foul only to kill your players - foul away on T16 against them. But if someone's plan was to get numerical advantage to win - fouling on T16 against them is stupid.
And for the "illegal action" thing... come on... |
