So what player would you take as a GLT prize and why?
I would get a skink for my orcs so they have some nice juice target to distract opponents. ![Wink](./modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

As I'll be playing as Lizardmen, I won't be taking a stunty. I like the thought of a dwarf, and also a thrower (as lizards can't throw...at all.) A fun thing to get them would be a zombie. Lizards have it tough getting a DP...skills and sauri are too precious to give a saurus DP, and skinks need doubles. AV8, regen, and DP...could keep the prize alive for a while.
EDIT: Another thing to note is the Pro skill. A thrower won't be using pro much (if it's a pick-up, it could be important enough to use a reroll, and they might get sure hands anyways.) A (hehe) zombie won't be using Pro much. Stunties...don't see them pro-ing much (best to have them end their turns safe, especially with the special attention they'll be getting.) Finally, a blocker...very likely to use pro. If you've got pro and you don't show a knockdown, but (per the norm) it's not worth a reroll, use pro. I think if I win (haha) I'll be getting a dwarf. |

No, that's a rhetorical question. |

As a wood elf coach, a longbeard looks like an excellent choice to me. |

As i said in the news post, on a bashy team i'd take a high elf lineman, dark elf lineman or pro elf thrower, and on an agility team or a low AV team, i'd take a longbeard or a chaos dwarf blocker. I can see the value in a beastman (especially if he gets mutations), but i feel that he's too fragile (AV8 and no dodge) considering you can't replace him. As for stunties, much too fragile for my liking, wouldn't last long! |

Beastmen for some clawy goodness I guess for most teams. A human thrower or some elfy type could be useful for the bashy teams. Not really sure though ![Razz](./modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif) |

On my DE i would get a CDB for some scrimmage duty. Id be tempted by a beastman, could be nice with some slayingpower, but ageing and av8 would probably make it a brief addition to the team. a CDB just needs a few skills then he never needs to get another spp if it cn be avoided.
edit: looking over the list and what it lacks and because it could be great fluff, im now also tempted to choose a skeleton for DE ![Smile](./modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

I'd be very tempted to get a Pro Elf thrower for Words, but in the end I think I'd go for a DE lineelf. It would just be better thematically. |

I'd get a Goblin, just so I could try some TTM plays with my wood elfs. It is difficult to say no to a longbeard though..... |
