Imagine having coach portraits always showing in the new client. Sort of like the avatars here in the forum, or the pictures on the profile page.

Why not? It would add personality, so I guess it's a good idea in my book, although I wouldn't care much if it didn't happen. |

Theres dead space on forums. There isnt dead space in the client.
I'd be in favour of it but I cant see it being well utilised by individual coaches. For example: I think people are likely to use their forum avatars and they dont actually do what you presented above. Even coachpics tend not to have the appropriate angle to make them look like opposing coaches (rather than just looking out of the screen at you). |

I guess space in the client is a bit of an issue... I can't really see any room for it either. |

What about having a small thumbnail image appear next to your name when you type stuff in the Chat of the new client? This could be for both players and spectators? If you have this feature as optional, there wouldn't be much harm in it... |

I'd probably just remove my coach pic, so as not to inflict it upon the unsuspecting world every game. |

I can't see a need for it. I'd rather just keep chipping away at the client graphics to make them better. I also don't need to see a bunch of forum avatars, or boxes with a ? in them. |

Bah, no. I don't really want to see a big question mark (or even worse, my face !!!) or some random picture while playing. I mean, this is not msn, this is blood bowl, where trolls leapfoul halflings, it should be taken seriously ! |
