Well, if one fails a bone head roll, he can't assist either. |

the only time they don't give assists is when they have failed a bonehead or really stupid roll. (if they have those traits) |

Actually even if they bonehead they still give an assist however they cannot prevent opponent players from giving assists if they bonehead |

Listen to Michael Warblade, hes totally right: if they fail the bonehead or really stupid roll, they lose their tackle zone, so they dont negate assistance from other players standing next to them because they dont have tackling zone to do so; but they DO give assist, because they are standing and next to the player receiving the block, and those 2 are the only requirements to give assist. |

Quite strange actually, to be able to give assists but not have any tackle zone.
Shouldn´t assist need a tackle zone? Arguing logic here. |

Assisting requires you to be in a tackle zone, not to have a tackle zone yourself. Semantics discussion from the LRB that was resolved ages ago and apparently the BBRC likes it the way it is, so that's how it will stay. |

I think it has been said many times before that logic and Blod Bowl are contradiction in terms but since you start down that road...
Think of the tackle zone as the players awareness of his surroundings. Trip that guys that tries to run past you, push that lino away from your mate (hinder an assist). This things demandes some sort of thinking. On the orther hand Big Guys are kind of centered on destructive behaviour (thoose that isn't simply doesn't live up ) so when one of his mates smash into someone it's close to instinct to help him with a boot, fist og something like it.
There you go. Even found a logical explanation to you |
