Grudge League group page
Graf Boris Todbringer calls upon all worthy Blood Bowl coaches, to join up and form the greatest Blood Bowl League in the Old World.
THEME:
A league for people who want to play Blood Bowl the way it's meant to be played.
TEAMS:
Here are overall team guidelines. Some tournaments may have special team rules applied to it.
1. Starting TR 100 (teams must be new when they enter).
2. Team must be an official LRB race.
3. Team must be [U]nranked.
4. New teams must have FF of at least 7 (Skavens are so sneaky they can have FF of at least 5).
5. Creating background information for the team and possibly even individual players is encouraged but not required.
6. Teams participating in this league may only play games within the league, and only tournament games (no casual play between teams).
7. Only 4 teams of each race will be accepted into the Grudge League. For example, if there are already four Orc teams in Grudge League, no new Orc teams can join. The amount of Khemri and Ogres teams allowed is currently halved, thus only two of each is allowed.
8. Only 1 "Dirty Player" per team is allowed.
9. A coach may have up to two teams (both have to be different races!) in the Grudge League but both teams have to be fairly active. Each coach may only enter 1 team per tournament.
10. Fair play:Suck it up, take it like a man. Do not disconnect because your elf team is getting bashed, or your undeads are losing 0-10. Be the bigger man, and finish the game properly.
11. Inactivity: If a coach knows he will not be around for the next 30 days or more, he needs to contact Karhumies in advance. Otherwise, all teams coached by coaches who have been offline for the past 30 days will be kicked out from the Grudge League.
12. Retiring a team: If you retire a team, you may join Grudge League with a new TR 100 team. The new team might be a different race than the previous team, if there are still empty slots for that race in Grudge League. The retired team will be kicked out of the Grudge League.

IMPORTANT: To join a tourney in Grudge League, a coach is required to send a pm to the Grudge League main organiser (Karhumies). The message format is as follows:
Subject: I will join (tournament name) with my team called (team name)
Message: If you are new to Grudge league, mention it here. Report also the amount of teams (one or two) you have currently in Grudge League.

Kislev Open Championships will begin in start of July (1st or 2nd).
Event #2b: Kislev Open Championships (held simultaneously with Worlds Edge Tournament)
[KO tournament] [Max. TR 200]
KO tournament held in Kislev. The violent nature of Blood Bowl combined with the frozen tundras of Kislev. Makes every player participating in this event an Ulric worshipper overnight. The KC sponsors invented a new seeding system for their tournament. It's called "The Race Similarity Chart", and is used so that each team randomly will be matched up against the team equal/closest to their own race, according to the chart. But before the chart is used, the teams are randomly split up into multiple divisions, and the chart is then applied on each division seperately. This is done to ensure that every pairing is possible in the final. No Star Players or wizards (except for goblin secret weapons, halfling master chefs and undead/necromantic necromancers) are allowed in the KC.

Grudge League is also looking for:
two deadline coordinators
-Taking care of the redline/deadline rule, handing out concedes.
a fluff creator
-Creating background information for Grudge League tournaments, writing occasional match/playoff outcome speculations to forums, writing division overviews
an advertiser
-promoting GL in IRC and on the boards, getting new coaches to replace drop-outs, accepting team applications, updating free team slots list
and a graphician.
-Creating pictures of GL tournament trophies, making a GL logo for group page

No hurries. There's still plenty of time before next tourney. You have already been accepted; there were multiple teams so I did not send a confirmation message.

We have received our first ever Amazon team! Only a Vampire team is missing from Grudge League and then all of the LRB races will be represented. 
There are now 35 teams total in Grudge League. I think we can handle about 48 teams but then we definitely need more staff members to join.

It might be so that we can start the Worlds Edge Tournament already on June 18th or 19th. This way Worlds Edge round 1 will be simultaneous to the DOBC final (unless the semis and final for DOBC are played ahead of schedule, which is also possible).
No matter when Worlds Edge begins, Kislev Open Championships will begin in start of July (1st or 2nd).
If any coach feels like June 18th is a bad date for him or her, pm me! |

There are now 13 TR 100 teams in Grudge League.
Only 7 teams total so far have applied for Worlds Edge tournament.
5 teams have applied for Kislev open Championships. |

Just in case you were wondering: TR 100 teams not signed up for ANY tournament at all have got -1 points on the group page. This is only to mark them apart from the new teams which have already signed up for some tournament.
TR 100 teams which are not going to join a tournament at the moment because the coach has already signed up a team for Worlds Edge have got -2 points. |
