I started a new Pgymy team, calling one of the player's Mr Hilter in reference to a Monty Python Sketch.
When the team came back from being approved, it was changed to Mr Cencored. I don't understand how it was supposed to be offensive, as I've seen other players actually called Hitler.
Could someone shed some light on this as to why it was changed? |

Enter Fumbbl_Approval and ask for the name to be changed again. |

Perhaps you accidentaly spelled Hilter wrong too, liky you did with Pygmy, so that it actually became Hitler.  |

And for those players named Hitler: Thats probably because they were bought after the team was approved. |

I suppose the approvers read the name quickly and did read Hitler instead of Hilter and changed it. |

...which leads to my personal opinion that a "rename" function should be implemented, cause there's no one controlling the 99% of the players out there anyway.

Hitler is a historical correct person and will be approved. We don´t sensor historical correct names like Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam Hussein and so on. Even though the majority on Fumbbl thinks that those are offensive names. History is offensive, but nevertheless also part of the world we live in. |

ehrm topper, usually all stuff relating to 3rd reich, nazi stuff etc gets cencored since we had several complaints about that, even if it's history etc and there are similar bad things out there etc.. but after many disputes we decided to cencro them *shrug* at least that's my latest information on that
for this particular case, it was me that approved that team and renamed the player, and yes it was a mistake cause i missread the name for hitler instead of hilter.. sorry bout that.. look me up ar any approver and i'm sure it will get changed back, was an honest mistake there, happens sometimes... :-/ |

This whole naming policy kinda invites people to come up with offensive names and see whether they can get away with it. |
