Hi,
BB has become even less bloody than a golf-trophy for the last years and rule-changes, but some of these plans are going to make a square-dance of it ("no touching please!")

A couple of things seems to be a bit radical!!! The High Kick result on the kick-off is incredibly powerful. A lot of skills have become less powerful.
Not sure about the new injury table, but niggles seems less of a worry under these rules.
What troubles me the most, if these rules become official, is the fact that a roll of 10 on the skill table can give you AV+. Damn!! Orcs, Dwarfs etc. will become even more crazy with a few lucky advancement rolls. Or Elves can end up with 9-10 in AV. |

I think its also a bit scary.... Skaven with mutation (simple skill), TTM is turnover, Morg playing for everybody.... |

Our league has played 150 Vault games, It is far far superior to the LRB, please beleive me.
As for less bloody, My dwarves put in their 133rd casualty in 31 games last night. You are mistaken my friend.
Inducements are incredible. My last 3 games have been over 100 points higher, and all 3 games have been fought to the wire. Try and say that about LRB. The new skills are great, fouling is balanced, kickoff table rocks and team value is perfect.
Play these rule, please, they truly are the best blood bowl has ever been. |

I think Jervis is confused.
The rules here used on fumbbl are good, not so good like in Old Times, but they are good. Now Jervis throw those rules into trashbag and makes new rules.

you can now hire a freebooted, a real apoth and a chirurgeon....
this makes three apos if you want, what makes the game less bloody.
the av+ things is wierd... but relativated by the new claw rule.... i
dp just gives +1 anymore.... rsc is out
i think you are completly right... the game is much less bloody... but honestly the problem have never been the injuries on the field but the additional unpreventable injuries by ageing...
take this out is a real good idea
anyway... we should better call this cosyball... or something like that |

Except that apos now only convert a casualty into a BH.
To get a cas'd player to continue playing too, you need to get the chirugeon at 50k per game, and you have to use both the apo AND the chirugeon to negate a cas like the old apo did.
Which effectively means you're paying 50K once, plus 50k PER GAME to get the same value from an old apo.
So no, apos are now worse, considering how much money you have to spend to get the old effect. |

How is it "incredibly powerful"? It allows you to move one of your players under the ball; you still have to roll to catch it. Unlike a touchback on a bad kick, where you could, you know, automatically give it to whomever you wanted. I fail to see the dramatic difference. |

Before crying that the game gets less bloody I think you should take a look at the new piling on-MB cas machine. Piling on is now an armour or INJURY reroll making it a really good killing skill combined with mb. The new apothecary is a lot worse than before, no more 2+ saves and left face up. If you use your apo on a cas you only get a reroll on the injury table thats' only a 50% chance to get even a BH mind you. |

I think for many, this is the problem, its not a regular GW-slave, its the great JJ, who makes some good proposals, but also some, quite irritating for the old-school-player. |
