Vidar ..... who is he to think he can run these tournies in HIS honor. <b>What about us?</b>
<b>Frey</b> sat stewing. Humans ... bah. Bloodbowl is a sport of grace and should be played by elves. "I'll host my own tourney", she thought.
Soon word spread to the depths of the underground. <b>Hel</b> would show the undead are the deadliest players.
<b>Loki</b> organized a tourney in his honor. Although he originally requested a free for all Dungeon Bowl game, Thor required him to follow the same rules as the other gods.
Knowing the other gods left the Norse out of their tourneys due to pure jealousy, <b>Odin</b> organized the Battle on Bifrost Bridge where his brave Norse and their Amazon companions could rule.
Separately these 4 gods sent out invitations to the the 1st Racial Invitationals

<b>The Champion's Cup is now recruiting for the 3 Racial Invitationals and one Thor Round Robin tourney due to start February 1st. </b>
<b>Racial Invitationals (KO Tourneys)</b>
Only certain races are invited for each Racial Invitational. See the schedules below to see if you are worthy or not.
<b><u>Frey Invitational</b></u> (8 spots - 4 taken)
Finding the stench from the other races unbearable, Frey called upon the her favorite elves to challenge all lesser races.
Races : Wood Elf, Elf, Necro, Goblin, CD
TR Limits : 125-175
Seeding : Random
<b><u>Hel's Niflheim Challenge</b></u> (8 spots - 7 taken)
Hel has called forth the strongest of the undead races to battle in her honor.
Races : Undead, Khemri, Skaven, Human, Orc
TR Limits : 125-175
Seeding : Random
<b><u>Battle on Bifrost Bridge</b></u> (8 spots - 5 taken)
The Norse have invited their enemies for a friendly bloofbowl battle. Along with their bloodthirsty mates (Amazons) they fight to see which sex is the strongest.
Races : Norse, Amazon, High Elf, Vampire, Dwarf
TR Limits : 125-175
Seeding : Random
<b><u>Loki invitational</b></u> (8 spots - 5 taken)
Evil and mayhem are on scene for this underground war. The arena is set adjacent to Hel's stadium and guards are posted to keep Loki's minions from crossing over and feasting on some ghouls.
Races : Chaos, Rotters, Dark Elf, Lizardmen, Halfings
TR Limits : 125-175
Seeding : Random
<b>Swiss Tourneys</b>
<b><u>Thor Round Robin</b></u> (unlimited spots - 3 taken)
The urge to watch titanic battles spurred Thor to create this Swiss tourney. "Let the pedestrians watch the puny teams, I want to see the bloodbowl giants do battle."
Races : All
TR Limits : 175+
Seeding : None - Swiss format - 4 rounds
Because of the Swiss format, no points will be awarded for a loss.
How do I sign up?
1) Apply to the Champion's Cup group
2) Post to this thread - listing your team name and Tourney you want to apply for
3) When I invite you to the Racial group, accept the invite |

Elvish Eye for the human Guy Would love a spot in the Frey Invitional. I'll get a couple of games in to get my TR back in the required area. Hopefully I put a better showing out there without those dirty dwarves. |

Shawn of the Dead would like to join the slugfest in Hel's Nifleheim Challenge. Also, Hail Mary would enjoy the competition of the Frey Invitational. |
