All over the old world, in the dark, notorious, scum buckets that thier owners called pubs many patrons were getting drunk and rowdy and fighting between themselves. The innkeepers didn't mind this at first, it served for good entertainment, some even set up gambling rings for the fights. But then it got out of hand, they started damaging the furniture. The innkeepers got together and decided how to put this right and they decided on pubbowl, let the patrons sort out their Vendetta's on the pitch, in teams representing the pub, the winner even got a nice shinny trophy to put in their pub.
Let PubBowl commence.

To join this group you must have a human team built on the following guide lines:
Your starting team can consist of no more than 7 players.
Your team must be human.
Your team may only have 2 members of specialist positions (blitzer, catcher, thrower), or may have 1 ogre (which will limit your team size to a maximum of 6).
Your team must only have a starting fan factor of 1.
Your team must start with no re-rolls, assistant coaches, cheerleaders, apothecaries or wizards.
Your team name should be a pub name.
Every team should have some information on the pub nad their reasons or playing and a short bio for all thier players.
Play:
Players will play with seven a side teams, (six with an Ogre).
Advancement:
You can have a maximum of 7 players eligeble for playing in the next match at any one time.
You can have in your team either 2 positionals or an Ogre.
Players can be retired.
Freebooters may be hired to cover for one of your men if he is missing the next match or if you have a spare slot in your 7 members.
Stars can only be hired if you gain fan factor 5 or higher and you are playing in the top division and one of your positionals is missing the game.
Re-rolls, apothecaries, wizards and cheerleaders can be hired but assistant coaches can only be achieved through retirement.
You should never have any more than 7 players eligeble to play your next game.
Golden Tankard round 1:
The first 10 teams to sign up will be placed in the first division, the next 10 in the second division etc. The divisions will commence playing once we have enough teams for that division. The tournament style will be round robin, each tournament will take place over 3 months.
The person at the top position will be promoted at the end of the season and the people at positions 2-5 will play off for the other promotion spot. The bottom two teams from each league will be relegated.
The winner of division 1 will win the Golden Tankard.

Although I think there may be an issue or two in the rules, it sounds fun. I like the idea of sunday league pub teams getting annihilated. |

Yeah. Does sound like fun but with a team of 6+ how can only five players be on the pitch? Would some have to stand aside.

how are you meant to field only 5 players at a time, if you have more than 5 in your team. I think the client doesn't allow this. |

I think accepted practice is to stand them deep in one corner of the pitch and make sure that they have NO impact on play at all |

I think I'm going to have to change it then, the starting number is 7 players and that's the max you can have on a pitch at a time. Now to create a new team. |

Yep, seen the problem. I'm going to have to change it to 5 aside with no reserves allowed. |

well the problem is when ue up to 10 players and can only field 7 there are 3 that have to be fieled by client rules the only way to do this is to place some in the corner. I would suggest that u make it that people can only have a maximum of 7 players to start and 9 players as the maximum as this will mean only 2 extra players which they can place in the corners and they wont get involved |
