My guess is that you didn't fully disable the Norton Security Firewall. My recommendation is that you uninstall that and instead install Microsoft's Security Essentials.
While you're at it, you should go through what's actually being run at startup on your computer. While somewhat time-consuming to do if you haven't got the experience, it's worth the effort to google each process you have running and making sure you don't have stuff you don't need/want. |
