Lachedoosje advanced with pride to the Emperor's Throne. Valten and Karl Franz kept close faces. It was the first team of so called "Evil races" that won an Ghal Maraz. Experts said they were the first and probably not the last.
Karl Franz spoke loudly:
"Lachedoosje, your team, Koosnamjes, won fairly the Iron Ghal Maraz trophy."
Maintaining a sence of tradition he added:
"I speak for the whole Empire and congratulate you for the win."
Lachedoosje, that had taken his human form again, answered:
"We won this one for the Empire and for our beloved mother. She is our guidance on the Path we follow. We defeated all the enemys of the Empire! It's a great day for us".
But the smile she did had something evil.
The crowd was deafened.
Lachedoosje turned away and said:
"Momma will lead us again here, I guess". She laughed, like an insane person.
............a little bit later........
Valten and Karl Franz were alone.
"- I wonder who is the Momma he is referencing too and if she has a scheme.
-Yes he weirdly dedicated the win to us.
-Valten, we should try to learn more about her and what she does want.
-I will look forward to put someone on the task.
-I think a Repurgator would be the best on this task.
-I'll search someone. I'll search"

The Graf Boris Todbringer was reading the newspaper "Altdorf Herald". He looked at the summary of the Bronze Ghal Maraz. A person of his importance was just watching the Gold Ghal Maraz and the finals. But he still wanted to know a little about how work the lower levels. He could get some arguments to organize the tournament next season! He firmly believed that nor Karl Franz, nor the -supposed- reincarnation of Sigmar, Valten were able to federate allied races with them.
Yes, someone could answer that they did when Archaon, the Chosen One of the God of Chaos tried to destroy the whole Old World, but, weren't they forced to join Valten and Karl Franz.
Besides, Middenheim is the land of the god Ulric and not Sigmar. The graf really wanted to try to organise them.
He started to read:
"CD Destruction vs Topazia Cheesers: The CD destruction made an impressive win 2-1 win showing their ability to play rough. Rumored to be though like nails, they suffered only 4 injurys in 7 games (2/2/0). That stamina could be a huge advantage as the tournament continue."
"Chaos dwarves", thought the Graf, "we don't see often ones here but they came in a great number, We maybe should verify that they are not preparring something by sending spy".
" Tuol Sleng vs Tarocchi: The only human team of the Bronze Ghal Maraz won easily the first round, beating the chaos dwarves 2-0. Tarocchi are the favourite of the public and they will face CD destruction in the next round.
"Great" thought the Graf, "they already beaten chaos dwarves, they will probably do it once again. I wonder if Tarocchi are Estalians, Bretonnians, Kislevists, Middenlanders or from the Empire. I hope they win"
" Masai were automatically qualified, the Lustrians will face the winner of:
World Edge Wombats vs Soul of Corruption: The orcs deafeated the Chaos team 3-1 in overtime. Despite a good battle during regualer game time, World Edge Wombats used their numerical advantage to get over the Soul of Corruption in semi-finals"
The Graf just thought about the whole story:
First, these necromantics claim to help the Empire.
Now, one human team beeing the only chance for the race of good. This tournament definitly goes in a wrong way. |

TAROCCHI
The Altdorf Tournement is over and the Tarocchi team is on its way home, Tilea.
The players are a bit disappointed, though, they fought bravely, but lost the semi final, despite the great public support (they were the only human team after all).
-Master, we lost!- Torre, the team captain, says to the team "owner" - we failed our mission.
-Dont' say that, my friend, you lost the match...but you gained great respect in the Empire, you had great popular support
-You're right, the fans were all for us, but what is worse we betrayed their trust!
-No, they support us because they feel that we are like them, remember, we fight for the Truth and when everyone will know the Truth, the world is never going to be the same. This is our mission. We are like them, hopeless, we have a single major fault: we tell the Truth, but the rich and the powerful ones dont' want to hear our voices.... and so they try to kill
us... but we can't surrender now, we have to spread the Truth all over the world!
-Master, between the matches, we went in the suburbs and spoke to the people, they know we are on their side.
-Well done, my captain, but the road is still long ahead...
-But in the last game was a bloodshed.... we can't be competitive in the Kournos Crown
-The road to the Elven forest is long, trust me, others will join our team, we are not alone in our quest for Truth! |

Hidden into the crowd, Dalenwing remained unnoticed. He was a dark elf assassin engaged by Malekith to keep an eye on the Altdorf Classical KO cup.
Necromantics won the iron Ghal Maraz.
For the Bronze Ghal Maraz, Tarrochi lost versus the CD Destruction. Nevermind and Ziggy Stardust made both 2 casualties. With all those Estalians being knocked off the pitch, the chaos dwarves had no difficulties to win that game. Dalenwing thought about the number of dangerous chaos dwarves around. Maybe a scheme to heightens the hatred between High elves and dwarves could be possible using chaos dwarves. That had to be thought.
The Lustrian of Masai played the orks of World edge Wombat. Of course Masai inexperience showed throughout the game but they could become dangerous on their own turf, the Lustria Antique tournament. So World Edge Wombats will have to play the CD Destruction? Dalenwing expected a win by the CD Destruction.
The Silver Ghal Maraz was the only tournament level where pur member of the Light forces were probable winners.
The first game opposed the Lone Mountain Slayers to the Alcaryanalcar. Battle between enemies, the clear winner were the dwarves and the humiliation for the elves conducted them to them to retire from all competition in the world.
They had then to play Maurai , a close game against another hated opponent: the Chaos dwarves. The Lone Mounain Slayers showed that they were able to keep their cool and now they are in the finals.
On the other side of the tournament tree, French Power played Tempting Fate and defeated them. Nurgle didn’t bless his team and the Chaos dwarves reached the semi finals.
They will face the Boozing Companions clear winner of their game versus Total Muppets . Dalenwing just hated Ariel Blutenweiss. The top star of the team managed once again to score an incredible hat trick. Dalenwing put him top ahead of his “To Be Murdered” list. |

The final of the Golden Ghal Maraz was about to begin. So the Ruhrpott Ratten would face the dark elves Light and Dark team.
Both gone through difficult rounds. The skavens defeated in the first round powerful Khemris, Phi Lambda Omicron by a 2-1 win and then took charge of the servant of Nurgle Nurgles children, in a real bloody game that left them weakened for the finals.
Light and Dark had to play the Mountain Dwellers the only team in the Golden Ghal Maraz recorded as a servant of the Good forces. The dwarves couldn't withstand their ability to play ball. In the semi finals, they played PRG from BTG an undead team that was unknown but seemed to perform well (they eliminated the prestigious Stargate Power)
The Final was about to begin, but Light and Dark captain,
lobba, asked for an audience with Karl Franz.
The emperor was astonished by the words that were said:
"Light and Dark are seeking for redemption. We ask the Empire to forgive us and we will do the same by the high elf council. We will dedicate the trophy, if Khaine allow us to win it, to the human beings of the Empire".
What a weird change of situation. Could Karl Franz believe this? Even if they were lying, trying to fool the forces of light, such a story could bring hopes in the heart of humans.
Dalenwing, the dark elf secretly here for Malekith, the prince of the dark elves, was angered. He would have loved to kill that Lobba right here. But now he had a mission: inform Malekith and Morathi of the betrayal of Light and Dark
“you fool,you are now doomed” he thought, living quickly the audience room.

The Kurnous Crown: The start of the tournament.
Dalendale was a wardancer and was in charge of the frontier of Athel Loren. The Kurnous Crown was about to start (NB: to those who wonder about the name change, I was wrong by naming the god of the woodies Kournos. According to the White Dwarf I saw, it seems to be Kurnous).
Dalendale would have to be very careful. Nobody in Athel Loren expected so many non-elves team in.
He took a look to the most prestigious team that were in it and wondered. First, and probably the worst, the True Cultist of Tempus joined. Everybody knew them. The most hated team in the whole Old World. They were rumoured to serve an unknown Chaos God, Tempus, and Archaon himself was taking interest in them.
Dalendale knew that if they were here, he had to be very careful. They were so dangerous. Their group were incredibly strong.
The Spanish Chaos Dwarves were in the same group. The 5th best team in the known world with a Bull Centaur even stronger than a minotaur! They will be a hard task for anyone, and winner between them and the True Cultist is unclear.
The Stargate Power , Nurgles Children and Tempting Fate were all three playing in the Altdorf Classical KO Cup, with best result for the Nurgles Children who reached the semi.
Dalendale, despite of the dangerous situation that they were in, had to smile. “What an irony, Kurnous Crown is supposed to be a great ball playing fest and the biggest group is just bunch of hard hitting teams. May they all kill themselves” |

The time for KO is allready past by some 15 minutes yet still there is no sign of either team taking to the pitch for the Golden final.
The crowd are baying for blood and the players are biding there time.
"Soon, Very soon" Lobba tells his team mates, "We will take to the field and make clear our plans" |

The final whistle blows and the defeated Light and Dark are quickly gone from the pitch, down the tunnel and away into the heart of the stadium. Observers have not seen them leave but they cannot remain unfound inside for long. If they are in fact still within the ground. |

Altdorf Classical KO cup: The skaven victory
Light and Dark final played the Ruhrpott Ratten in the finals. Light and Dark brought hope to the whole Empire by suddenly deciding to join forces of light. But they couldn’t win it. Both team played on a very high level, appropriated for the expectations of the spectators. Light and Dark had a difficult first half, but managed to score despite the great pressure put on them. Only a few minutes were left but the lightening quick Ewald Essen evened the game before half time.
On the second half, the rats scored and were up 2-1. The humans elves and even dwarves killed the ref’ thinking that he was corrupted by chaos. But Light and Dark couldn’t capitalize on it and they found a last way to even it before the end of the game. Unfortunatly, Green Hair, the witch elf fall on ground a few inches before the TD zone.
Dalenwing smiled. He was looking on the spectators’ faces and their disappointment when the witch felt down. If they only knew. He went to a spellcaster to contact Morathi. She was pretty clear in her orders: Light and Dark MUST loose. The poisoned missile that he shot in the witch’s leg remained unnoticed and she felt down so close from the line. Morathi and Malekith will be satisfied. Dalenwing would be praised for his action. |

Chapter 1: Clan Eshin’s plan
Snikkit, assassin of the clan Eshin, knew that with those rats. His plan is feasible. He will do it: kidnap the daughter and the wife of Karl Franz’s intendant so that he changes the rule of the tournament. The winner acquire the right to the city, Altdorf then.
The Ruhrpott Ratten will take the city for the Horned Rat.
that’s why, the Altdorf Classical KO Cup will be named Altdorf Classical KO Cup 2nd edition: The Skavenian Plan. |

Chapter 1: The betrayal of Light and Dark
Dalenwing has made the travel to Naggrothrond and found there an angried Malekith.
“Dalenwing, you have order to kill the Light and Dark. We will never admit betrayal in our ranks. Every darkelf team has order to try to hurt them as badly as possible. Now go back to the Old World. Only come back when your done with the task.”
Back to the Old World, Dalenwing searched the Light and Dark team, but no trace of them…..
G Force told me per pm his team hides. It’s getting some kind of bloodbowl RPG 
Chapter 1: The stability in Tilea.
The Prince called Torre, team captain of the Tarrochi, to a special audience.
“Torre, as you know it the situation in Tilea is pretty unstable. Your result in the tournament raised confidence in them. As long as you perform well, I guess the stability here will be good. Our opponents are just waiting for us to loose our strength to rid us off. Show the whole world our power, it’s important”

Chapter 1: The Altdorf classical KO CUP: final summary
-The skaven won the Golden Ghal Maraz trophy so Snikkit, leader of the clan Eshin, decides to execute his plan for the next edition of Aldorf KO Cup (coming up in chapter 5)
-Dark elf Light and Dark betrayed their brothers and are now actively searched to be destroyed
-Koosnampjee announcement raised Karl Franz and Valtens curiosity and they will look forward for them
-Tarrochi help for stability in their own land.
-Graf Boris Todbringer asked Karl Franz to host the next Classical KO Cup, because this one was disastrous for the Empire.
-There is still one final left to be played but I don’t think it will change the current background.
Time to definitely move to chapter 2: The Kurnous Crown |

Team Story: Light and Dark:
Light and Dark added to their Team Rotiart. That's how they speak of him:

Dalenwing didn't know where his special spie, Gil-Darn Zenden, was but according to the last news he gave he know were Light and Dark were. Unfortunately, when Dalenwing came, Light and Dark already moved. The sign left by Zenden just meant "under scrutiny". Dalenwing he had to wait for more info. |
