I decided to stick with "Lineman" for all races, even Amazons, but Java Bowl shows "Linewoman" anyway despite of the content of the ini files.
I had a look at the teams and "Orc Lineorc" as well as "Elf Lineelf" looked silly to be honest.

It feels better to have the positions as generic terms in the game, especially with races added.
thanks for the feedback though, i thought it would be cool at first, but it really isn't...

I'd just like to point out that its linewomen, not linegirls. Linegirls just sounds stupid (imo), much like lineboys would if we used that.

I don't think there is a need to categorise everything into the standard positions. Some positionals just aren't suited to any of them (Wardancers, Witch Elves, and all the big guys are the ones that come to mind, but I'm sure there are several more).

Linewoman does not fit into the Java Bowl window so i gave linegirls a shot. I wish i could make it LineMAN but somehow that cannot be phrased by JBB.

I got rid of all big guy's anyway and i'm planing on making them Blockers on the Goblin, Halfling and Ogre teams. Wardancer are of course Wood Elv Blitzers and Witch ELves runners withthe Dark Elf Team. as i said i want to use more sports than warhammer.

The problem is that not all races have throwers or catchers or runners.

MMM I voted for lineelf to sound more fluffyer. By no way I am for "wood elf blocker". I would even change human team names to sound more fun. That's definitely what the game need.

I agree with Laviak. I dont think all players must fit into the cathegories defined by you, Runner, Blitzer etc.... Besides I like the fact that some of the positionals have fantasy names that makes talking about them all the more neerdy.

Oh please. It can only be Zombie-Pirate-Ninja.. It's why undead are so broken.

Otherwise BM. You didn't mention that you were asking about how people would like the Client modded if they could.

My vote is LineElf LineMan etc but special players like WitchElf should be listed by their title and not have a position added (and I know you disagree but...)
