Another question. Most leagues I've seen have stated this to be the case if it is. But I want to be sure. If my team is not currently in a tournament for the league can I play other games with the team? With teams in or out of the league?
I assume we can't, but just wondering. |

They can. I dont have any problems with coaches playing other matches, if they aint in an active tournament.
So between leagues, cups or what ever it is, any team can play as much as they like.
This is also why there are diffreint groups for diffrent TR. We will let you know when a league or cup is about to start, thru PMs.
That is because; Anyone can join, regardless of TR.
So what would stop you from, getting out of the league, play a match or two, and then get back in again?

Here is what the user guide says about Swiss.
Swiss
This format is an extension of the knockout format and is very popular in tabletop tournaments. The basic idea is that all teams play the same (predetermined) number of rounds. A team gets 2 points for a win and 1 for a tie (thus, no need for overtime) and will play games against opponents with a score as close to their own as possible. An attempt is made to avoid scheduling the same two teams against eachother in the same tournament.
The first round is scheduled by seeding just like in knockouts and allows the same seeding options. The following rounds are determined by the following system:
Order the teams by score (descending)
Find the highest team which is not scheduled for a match for the round
Move down the list and find the next unscheduled team, marking this one as a "safety" opponent.
If the two teams have already played in the tournament, move on to the next unscheduled team. This is repeated until an opponent is found or there are no more teams.
If there was no available opponent, schedule the team against the "safety" selected in step 3.
If there are any unscheduled teams left, start over from step 2.
The benefits of the Swiss system is that it lets everyone play the same number of games and all games should (at least theoretically) become more even as you progress through the rounds.
There has to be at least 8 participants and the number of teams must be even in this format. |

I didnt intend to start a league, just to get to play woodies. I just wanted to play a league where bashing and boxplay wouldnt be dominante.
And I will apply more then me woodie team, in time. |
