Yeah, frenzy is such a weakness, that's why the Dark Elves suck, they have two players with frenzy from the start.
P.S.: In case you people can't tell, I am not serious (and mocking Purple, heh). |

Its a persoanl view, and i admit not a popular one. but i still think frenzy is a liability. you end up having to design your entire positioning around the frenzy guy, or not use him at all. on a STR4 elf thats a waste, a witch that cant afford to take hits (and will prioritise SS as an early skill) less so as they are best coming from behind the lines, hitting and running away again. Frenzy 'can' often be sucked into a trap and either taken out of a useful area or better yet use up rerolls por even cause turnovers.
I guess i just like controllable players more than sidelining opposition. I even avoid frenzy on BOB's. I think its a negatrait. |

Frenzy also can be a liability on crowd pushes if you block and not blitz as they're left on the sidelines. I took frenzy on a ST4 orc blitzer and found him great for advancing a cage or getting a free reroll on blocks but other than that getting a block with him meant having to setup blocks to avoid assits on second blocks or leaving him open to fouls. I guess you went with it now so you'll just have to find out yourself if you can use him efficiently. |
