Eshin don't have access to Big Guys in the first place, they're designed so they don't need them as the rest of the team is balanced (If there is such a thing in Stunty?) to manage without.

The teams with Big Guy access tend to rely on them, and without block as a first skill they'll suffer a LOT more turnovers than an original [S] version of the team would.

Any ideas Russo?

Sounds like teams without Big Guys don't need to restart then? How about having a pre-season period for other teams to get their TS up and practice their tactics? It would be nice to keep the reigning champions in the mix. Also, going off last season, a practice game or two may well help some of the more exotic races out Cool

One option is to just run the league in Stunty so that nothing is unbalanced in regards to loss of general skills.
I'm guessing this would mean new teams for all and also compliance to the following:

i retired my herders a few weeks ago but would love to join with some new ones

OK Big Bad Grandad Troll is chipping in with his vision Very Happy

The points that Pras and Cribble have both made are good ones. I am suggesting a two competition league here.

a) Grandfather's League

Existing teams and any newcomers that are happy to play with the disadvantage mentioned by Cribble can play on in a seperate league...a litte like the Masters tournaments in Tennis or Golf. This will be completely seperate to the main League and that allows the existing teams to continue in their development.

b) SFL League

One large open league that will start afresh with no Season I teams involved. Games will not be in a scheduled order, instead coaches will play opponents from the pool, with the League being complete when all their opponents in the league have been played once. These teams will all have to have been created fresh in [L] and therefore no advantage is held


I would allow coaches to hold a team in each League so Domster can defend his title and also have a second team challenging for another title.

Grandfather's League

Eshin - Domsterlord
Faries - Russo
Chaos Halflings - Evil Drone


SFL League

Gnoblars - Russo
Goblins - Cribbleobblepie
Halflings - BigBroth
Squig Herders - gildor_inglorion
Nurglings - Chewie
Pygmys - SeraphimRed
Snotlings - Lucky_Gobbo
Chaos Halflings - thereisaball


Jaawi is still to decide how he wants to continue
TheHardArtist has been ofline for 4 weeks so we will assume he is not going to be around for Season II
KIDD has given notice in the AFL that he is withdrawing from Leagues due to time comitments
Lenny has withdrawn due to time limitations



Teams Definately Available for Main SFL League:

Goblin Cheaters
Skyre Slaves
Strigoyan
Faries
Gnomes
Skinks
Eshin Adepts


If you are interested in joining but only with a race that is already taken, I will consider a second team, but only under consideration, so please talk to me if that is the case for you.

Having a Grandfather league with 3 teams is kinda pointless.

i do not mind starting a new Eshin team to defend the title...
