Create another team and submit it. I have two teams (one in each), just in case we get some other interest in the Grandfather's league, so i suggest keeping your current one as well.
Black Orc is a new coach interested in joining too, so we are getting some more fresh blood every day

Good News!!
At last Season II is up and running. All 9 coaches can play games as and when they get hold of potential opponants. The structure for points is as follows:
Win 5
Draw 2
Loss 0
Forfeit Win 2
Forfeit Loss -1
TD 2pts each
Cas 1pt each
Therefore the incentive is to score and score again, but dont forget those casualties too...
Hopefully this will mean that even if you are 3-0 down, playing to the bitter end is always worth it as you can stillpick up points for bashing your oppo up or scoring a consolation TD.
Add your oppos to your Buddy List, catch them in the AFL irc channel or PM them to arrange times.
Keep me informed of all developments as they arise. Have fun and post your games on the thread 
Just to add.
The format is an open round robin where you play each coach once.
You can start now and I think that 5 weeks is a good time to get your 9 games in.
My thoughts are that we will have a knock out cup afterwards wit hthe bottom two clubs playing off to for the eigth place in the Quarter Finals. |

The points calculator is automatic by the Group Page. So all I have done is treat any casualty as 1 point.
The page then uses all the casualties recorded on the match summary page that pops up at the end of the game. I am not sure how this is decided in practice. I will open the floor in case anyone knows??? |

MiniFarts' record shows 2 Cas-es, but it is only Pogo on the whole team, who has SPP for Cas-ing. Asher's Lust have 5 Cas on record but I cannot count more than 4 in the roster (nice to see you in the same league again, Azure ).
But it doesnt matter, just wanted to check if I am correct. I am fine with any point-calculation system as long as I can play, so that there is a chance to be calculated |

What I m gonna do is that I adjust my interest balance in ballhandling/crowdsurf from 30/70 to 10/90. BEWARE
So, actually I just wanted to make sure that in this league Cas got its proper weight. In tabletop: Cas is usually a 5th ranked tiebreaker, and I hate that mehod. (I have to add that my AV8 team made 0 Cas on Chewies AV7 team, but suffered 3 Cas, hahaha, that much about my Cas-love.) |

Just to confirm we have now had two new coaches added to the group Azure and MadOrc, have both entered a team. As it is an open round robin and most teams have not played more than one game there are no issues around TR/TS imbalance.
I hope you guys are all having fun out there and there have been some monster matches scoring plenty of League points.
As we now have two league coaches extra I have added a week to the deadline so that you have ample time to play.
The new deadline is 22nd June. I have calculated this on the basis that you then will have had 9 matches to play over 6 weeks. i think that is a fair expectation in an open round robin that covers short stunty games.
Get playing folks as the winner will be the league leader at the end of the period, so slow coaches = no points. |
