I'm back. I was (hard to believe, I know) actually touched and encouraged when I decided to check on my goodbye thread after a week and people indicated that they really appreciated my (mostly) light-hearted presence on the forums. |

Wow, while you guys mention poetry, I had a revelation a few weeks ago.
I was spectating a game and all I could think about was William Carlos Williams' The Red Wheelbarrow
so much depends
upon
a red wheel
barrow
glazed with rain
water
beside the white
chickens.
That's when it occured to me that the red wheelbarrow was actually the wheelbarrow the ground crew uses to get the dead players off the pitch. Of course it wasn't always red, but it is now because of the blood, which is refered to as "rain water" because it's flowing everywhere in Bloodbowl. That only leaves the white chickens, which could be one of two things. Either they are the chickens whose blood the apothecary uses for transfusion or they are the spectators who passed out from fright (hence they are white, and they are chicken). From this I must conclude that William Carlos Williams must have foreseen Bloodbowl in a dream or something, and he obviously played a bashy team, since so much depends on the casualties. |

You don't think they were halflings, and he just didn't know it? It would certainly explain all the blood... |
